A Flood Watch remains in effect through late tonight (3am) for Marion, Putnam, Flagler, and St. Johns counties.

An additional 1-3” of rain is forecast on already saturated grounds. The heavy rainfall may combine with higher than normal tidal levels and may worsen flood problems in some Atlantic Coastal and St. Johns River locations.

Check this out - a LOT of rain is INCOMING!!!

Lot of chatter on end of week/weekend wind shear. Latest numbers here. Typically these numbers would have big impacts on any developing tropical system. Meaning helping it stay weak/weaker. And pushing rains/storms eastward. NHC bumping lower Gulf spot to watch to 70% this AM. So definitely something to keep an eye on. Few ensembles not seeing this shear hurting too much. Logic says those are wrong. But we never ignore outliers we have learned over the years. www.spaghettimodels.com
