Overview of January Meeting:

• Opening Prayer by Brenda Wells – Refreshments - Welcome!

• As we begin our 2022th year…remember those who are homebound: Alice Lytch, Luciana Blackmon, Barbara Smith. To those who missed our last meeting, we missed you and look forward to seeing you soon! We wish you and your family safe travels.

• Denise Powell oversaw the fifty-fifty raffle and Kurt Bottoms won!

• (AACHO Committee Scholarship selection): Queenester Jones, Denise Powell, Mavis Smith, Barbara Smith, Vivian Richardson, will meet next week.

Overview of December 21st Christmas Party & Membership Drive:
Attendees – Vivian Richardson, P, Wes Powell, VP., Denise Powell, F. Sec’, Claudius and Marlene Williams, Brenda Wells, Maxine Maxwell, Donald Maxwell, Queenester Jones, Elva and James T. Lee, Foster Vestal, Victor Krause, Mavis Smith and their daughters, Pat and Kurt Bottoms, Yvonne Pearson, and Sondra and Ray Henderson. (Masks warn with Plenty of spacing distances.)

• Opening Prayer by Sondra L. Henderson – Welcome!

• Our Fun-filled Christmas Party/Membership Drive was filled with plenty of Holiday fun, food and drawings. Membership $20 single/$40 family still due.
Menu: Brenda , Cook-Up – Marlene, Cake – Foster, Beer, Barbara Smith – Wine, Elva, Ham – Maxine, Fried Chicken, Queenester – Greens & Dessert, Denise – Water & Dessert, Wes – Holiday Plants, Vivian – Cod Fish Cakes & Devilled Eggs, Sondra – Macaroni & Cheese. All Delicious!! Enough over to take home!

• Thank You All, and to Brenda Wells for Raffle donations. Beautiful Poinsettia Plants were donated by Wes Powell (our fabulous D.J.). Queenester offered her ‘Candy’ Game. Hilarious jokes were shared by all!

• We loss a former founder and president – Cynthia D. Hunt. Vivian attended the funeral and presented a certificate of appreciation on behalf of AACHO.
