🇺🇸 SUPPORT A VETERAN. SUPPORT A FATHER. SUPPORT A FUTURE POLICE OFFICER. 👮♂️
Today, we're asking our community to rally behind one of our own.
Maurice "Bud" Therrien is an Army veteran, a devoted father of three, and a man who has dedicated his life to serving others. If you've ever met Bud, you know he's the kind of person who shows up when someone is in need. He's always been willing to lend a hand, support a friend, or serve his community without expecting anything in return.
Today, Bud is continuing that commitment to service as he works his way through the Police Academy, pursuing his dream of becoming a police officer with the DeLand Police Department.
Unfortunately, his family is facing an unexpected hardship. Their family truck has suffered a catastrophic engine failure and requires a complete engine replacement. Like many families, purchasing a new vehicle simply isn't an option right now, and reliable transportation is critical for getting to the academy, caring for his family, and continuing to move forward.
Now it's our turn to show up for him.
Bud has spent his life serving his country, his family, and his community. Let's come together and help ease this burden so he can stay focused on graduating the academy and continuing his journey of service.
Every dollar helps. Every share matters. Even if you're unable to donate, please consider sharing this post and helping us spread the word.
Let's rally the troops and show Bud and his family that they are not alone.
