The Shutterbug Foundation Michael J. Jaminet The Shutterbug Foundation was established in memory of our brother Michael Jaminet.

Michael was a loving son, brother and husband when he was diagnosed in 2005 with a gliomablastoma brain tumor - the same type of brain tumor that took the life of Senator Ted Kennedy. While Michael always maintained a positive "can-do" attitude, after enduring three years of chemotherapy, radiation, clinical trials and two brain surgeries, our brother succumbed to this dreadful condition at the ve

ry young age of 44. Since Michael was an avid and award-winning photographer, we chose the name "Shutterbug" for our Foundation to honor his greatest passion. Proceeds raised through the Foundation are used provide scholarships to the Kent State University College of Communications and to fund brain tumor research at the Cleveland Clinic where our brother was treated.
