Sunday Social Florida, a.k.a. was conceived in 2014 and launched in 2015
on the white sugar sands of Pensacola Beach. We (ElektrikEventz) have been a part of the underground for decades, and through the more recent years noticed more and more parties screaming "TAKEOVER!" so we thought it was time for a GiveBack, and SunSoFlo was born. We wanted to take positive dance culture, a natural breeding ground for Unity and acceptance, and combine it with philanthropy in an environment where you can simply enjoy Life on a Florida Sunday, doing what you normally do, all while you through music. Our first season was about supporting Music Therapy programs that help heal veterans with PTSD, child survivors of abuse and trauma, and adults in addiction recovery through monetary and music instrument donations. 2015 was an amazing launch year to say the least! Now, here we are in SoFlo - We've been so blessed to have debuted the big during WMC/Miami Music Week's closing weekend in 2017 at the legendary Shore Club with a wonderful charity partner: GiveaBeat.org. And we will be moving forward and featuring even more causes that are dear to us and that deserve a platform to be heard. With the launch of this very special series of endless summer fundraising events our goal has been to bring awareness to the fact that we all as Humans, are creative beings, born to create, express and love, whether it be through art, music, writing, dancing, or helping shape the future and ourselves in other positive ways. And by simply showing up and having a laid-back Sunday with friends and good music, you directly support that social and environmental change through the various causes we feature. The great Jimi Hendrix said it:

Our other, equally important mission with Sunday Social Florida is to create a better and broader understanding of House Music and its deep-rooted 3 decades-long culture, and to represent and deliver it properly.
