This weekend we celebrate a beautiful milestone for Jett.
Jett has been officially adopted by Scott Sandler in Massachusetts, and we are so grateful to see him stepping into a life filled with love, stability, and companionship.
Scott shared that he was looking for a relaxed and loyal companion, one who would be by his side most of the time. Jett will be welcomed into a home with a nice house and a large yard, with nearby beautiful parks for daily walks and off leash time in a fenced area. His days will be a balance of peaceful time at home and 30 to 60 minute visits to the park.
He will also get to enjoy time with family, including visits with nieces and nephews and their dogs, a black Lab, a Golden Pyrenees, and an English Golden. And he will be part of future travel plans as well, including time on the Cape and at a lake in New Hampshire.
This is the kind of future every dog deserves, steady love, family connection, and a place to truly belong.

Yesterday was a big day for Jet.
This sweet boy boarded his freedom flight and began the next chapter of his journey. Watching him prepare for takeoff was filled with so many emotions, gratitude, hope, excitement, and love.
Every rescue animal has a story, and Jet's story is still being written. Yesterday marked another step toward the happy future he deserves.
A huge thank you to everyone who has supported his journey and helped make moments like this possible. It truly takes a village to give these animals a second chance.

A Message About Pedro
Over the past several days, many people have asked why Pedro remains in the care of Annie's Faith Foundation and has not been returned to his owner.
We want to be clear: this has never been about taking someone's dog, winning an argument, or creating conflict. This has always been about Pedro and what is in his best interest.
When Pedro was found, he was suffering from a severe and painful injury that had gone untreated for an extended period of time. Veterinary records show that his owner had previously sought care from two veterinarians and was advised that Pedro either needed surgery or humane euthanasia due to the severity of his condition. Neither option was pursued.
Instead, Pedro continued living with his painful injury for approximately another month before he was ultimately found and brought to safety.
By the time Pedro came into rescue, he was in significant pain and required immediate medical attention. Annie's Faith Foundation stepped in to provide the emergency care, treatment, and resources necessary to give him the chance he deserved.
Since that day, every decision has been made with one goal in mind: Pedro's health, safety, and long-term well-being.
This is not about punishment, blame, or public opinion. It is about the documented condition Pedro was found in and our responsibility to advocate for a dog who could not advocate for himself.
We understand that emotions can run high, but our commitment remains unchanged. Pedro deserves compassion, proper medical care, freedom from suffering, and the opportunity to live a healthy and happy life.
We ask that everyone keep the focus where it belongs—on Pedro and what is best for him.
Thank you to everyone who has supported his recovery and stood behind the principle that every animal deserves appropriate care and a chance to heal.

for their support, advocacy, and partnership throughout Pedro's journey. Rescue is never a one-person effort, and we are incredibly thankful for the people and organizations who stand together to ensure animals receive the care, protection, and second chances they deserve. Update from Annie’s Faith Foundation – Jet 🐾
Jet went to boarding yesterday and is settling in for the next step of his journey!
A huge thank you to Miguel Garcia for safely transporting him there and helping us move Jet one step closer to his new beginning.
We also want to sincerely thank Giovanny and Contreras Veterinary for taking such good care of him during his recovery and treatment. Your compassion and dedication made a real difference for Jet.
Special gratitude to Heidy Vasquez for caring enough to step in and bring Jet in when he was badly injured. Because of you, he got the urgent help he needed.
Vet tech Giovanny said his goodbyes to Jet as he headed out, bittersweet, but filled with hope for what’s ahead.
We are now raising support for Jet’s ongoing care, including his boarding costs, veterinary care, and flight to the United States. Every donation directly helps cover these critical expenses and brings him closer to safety and stability.
