The first relationship is where it all begins. 💛 Every time you comfort your crying baby or trade smiles over breakfast, you’re showing them they’re safe and loved.

Celebrate Babies is a morning made for expectant moms and families with little ones from birth to five, hosted by Center for Child Counseling in partnership with Opportunity Early Childhood Center.

Our keynote, Caley Kukla, M.Ed., will share how the small moments that happen dozens of times a day shape your child’s well-being, with tools you can start using right away.

Every child worries. But for some kids, worry keeps growing until it starts running their day, right down to whether they can walk through the school door.

Anxiety is the most common concern we see at Center for Child Counseling, and it doesn’t always look like worry. Often it shows up as anger or a stomach ache.

In our newest blog post, our CEO Renée Layman explains what anxiety looks like at different ages, the signs parents tend to miss, and what you can do at home starting today.

The good news: anxiety is very treatable, especially in children. 💛

You'll find practical ways to connect before you correct, and to understand what a child is really telling you during a meltdown.

Every tool is grounded in brain science and HOPE (Healthy Outcomes from Positive Experiences), so you can put it to use in everyday moments starting today.

A baby's brain grows faster in the first three years than at any other time in life, and what shapes it most is the relationship with the grown-ups who love them.

Infant and early childhood mental health has been the foundation of Center for Child Counseling since 1999. We work with families of children birth to five to strengthen the parent-child bond so little ones get a healthy start.
