Ryan Rogers Remembrance Tournament

I’m proud to share some wonderful news that reflects the heart and dedication of our local soccer community—and I’m especially grateful to leave on a high note as my final act in my role on the Soccer Board.

This June, the Ryan Rogers Scholarship Fund at PBGYAA Soccer proudly awarded scholarships to an incredible group of students for the 2025 graduation year.

Each recipient has been a meaningful part of the PBGYAA family—whether through the Recreation League, Competitive Program, volunteering as a TOPSoccer Buddy, or helping at the Ryan Rogers Remembrance Tournament.

This year’s scholarships were made possible by:
Proceeds from the 2024 Ryan Rogers Remembrance Tournament $24,303
Generous direct scholarship donations totaling $45,000
Funds raised through the Soccer Concession Stand and Raffle Basket Fundraisers during Fall 2024 and Spring 2025

💙 In total, the Ryan Rogers Scholarship Fund distributed $100,000 —an all-time high! 💙

Ryan would have graduated this year, and this milestone is a powerful tribute to his memory and the impact he continues to have on our community.

It is with a heavy heart that we must announce the Ryan Rogers Remembrance Tournament can no longer proceed due to unforeseen circumstances. The tournament was intended to honor Ryan and foster a sense of community through a sport he loved, have some fun, and raise money for the Ryan Rogers Scholarship Fund. However, due to scheduling barriers and various challenges associated with organizing such an event, it is no longer feasible to continue.

We are deeply grateful for your support and participation. Everyone involved participated with the best intentions, and together we have created cherished memories on the field while raising funds for the Ryan Rogers Scholarship Fund at PBGYAA Soccer for graduating seniors. In 2023, our inaugural year, we raised just under $12,000, and in 2024, we doubled that amount, raising just over $24,000.

Thank you once again for your support and commitment and for being part of this journey with us.

A HUGE and special thank you to ALL who participated in the Ryan Rogers Tournament and to all those who donated, volunteered and sponsored- We are excited to announce that the 2nd Annual Ryan Rogers Remembrance Tournament ⚽️ raised $24,303 for the Ryan Rogers Scholarship Fund at PBGYAA Soccer.

We doubled the amount from the 1st tournament in 2023 and could not have done it without all of your support and dedication.
