I spent the morning with the kids and Doula Katie Campbell organizing, separating, folding, labeling, all the things people have donated for the community closet we are building. Thank you Katie for offering your space to help store and keep everything organized, and thank you Doula Shelli Haslett, Kevina Satterfield, and Maribel Rivera Hagman for collecting donations and driving across 3 counties to do so. And thank you to all the moms out there who donate items to help new moms who are struggling.

Please help us collect items for new moms! we are finally able to get a pantry going and now need to fill the shelves for the local people who need help with baby items. So many awesome things get donated to our nonprofit. All of this stuff was donated to us from parents who no longer needed it and has been given back out to the community for the people who do. We helped dozens of people every month with items like this. It’s a lot to coordinate. It’s quite time-consuming and it’s worth every moment. If you have anything that you’d like to donate please let us know. We take items for babies and moms even if the package of diapers is open and we have locations for drop off in Stuart, Palm Beach Gardens, Jupiter, Royal Palm Beach, in Lake Worth.

Yeah for Walmart delivery ! A young struggling mom was in need of some pull ups and wipes for her child and just needed a bridge to get to a few days till she got paid again so we were able to ship some right from Walmart to her.

This is exactly what Hope for New Parents program is all about. These little gaps that need to be filled to make life easier for new parents.

I LOVE ride shares.

Listen, I have so much to do and couldn’t figure out a volunteer to go get a baby swing for a mom who needs it with a 5 day old who really needs it. Someone donated one and I don’t have time to get it. So, I just hired an uber to take a baby swing to someone else.

Love it.

Community calling is not only helpful but we are resourceful to get people what they need.
