We know you're looking forward to the big announcement for who will be The Wild Dolphin Project's speaker for Wild Ocean Science in 2024 but we'll have to pause it for a year so we can properly celebrate Dr. Herzing's 40th consecutive year in the field studying dolphins in the wild. We'll be back at it in 2025!🥳🥳🥳🥳

We're excited to announce Living Porpoisefully will be joining the reception for Wild Ocean Science features Carl Safina on the 25th.

Founder + creator Eve Taylor, a former marine science teacher, dreamed of making a difference beyond the classroom. Joining forces with her husband Rett, they’ve written 5+ children’s books and opened the Living Porpoisefully online eco-boutique. They’re passionate about living with porpoise and helping to educate + protect this beautiful planet.

The Wild Dolphin Project presents their 3rd Annual Signature Event on March 28, 2020

This year’s unique event will feature legendary oceanographer, Dr. Sylvia Earle and will be hosted by PBS NewsHour Journalist, Miles O’Brien. Research Director and Founder of The Wild Dolphin Project, Dr. Denise Herzing, will provide exciting project updates of WDP’s latest research methods, Cutting edge technology, and report on the overall health of the Community of dolphins she has been studying for over 35 years. Dr. Herzing will also be signing books and be available for photos. Doors open at 5pm!

The Wild Dolphin Project is a non-profit scientific research organization that studies and reports on a specific pod of free ranging Atlantic spotted dolphins (Stenella frontalis). Since 1985, Denise Herzing has been studying dolphin communication in the wild. Objectives of this long-term, non-invasive field research on wild dolphins are to gather information on the natural history of these dolphins, including dolphin behaviors, social structure, dolphin communication, and habitat; and to report what we have learned to the scientific community and the general public. panning over three decades The Wild Dolphin Project is the longest running underwater dolphin research project in the world. With our underwater focus on observing and recording behavior and sound, we are determined to "Crack the Code" of dolphin communication.
