This coming Saturday, September 5th, a Vegan lunch from Ivory Coast, West Africa, will be served at Yogashakti Mission at 12 noon.

The menu will include: a Millet dish with red bell peppers and cilantro; a sweet potato and peanut stew with pinto beans, tomatoes, celery, yucca ,carrots; a kale salad; a rice dish; fried plantain; shredded cabbage and pineapple salad; dessert by Jen; cold hibiscus drink.

Suggested donation is $15. Small children $5.

On Monday September 7th at 5 pm Shanti Priya (Susan Rizzo) will be conducting a Sound Bath Relaxation with Crystal Bowls, Tibetan bowls and bells and sacred Mantras. It includes a guided chakra meditation and will take place in the Yogashakti Pavilion.

Suggested donation is $10 or love donation of any amount.

Come and Relax and Renew with the sound of the bowls and Susan's beautiful voice.

This Sunday, August 23rd, Chris Haber will give a presentation on Rudraksha Beads from 9 - 10 AM at Yogashakti Mission.

Rudraksha beads are the sacred dried stones of the fruit from the Elaeocarpus ganitrus tree. Revered in Hinduism and Buddhism, the name means "teardrops of Shiva"(Rudra for Shiva, Aksha for teardrops). They are traditionally worn as malas to aid meditation and focus.

Chris will talk about the different subtle effects of Rudraksha beads and discuss Mukhis.

Feel free to bring your Rudraksha Mala with you.

This Sunday, August 16th from 9 - 10 AM Rosa Godshall will give a presentation at Yogashakti Mission on her unique education at the only Buddhist High School in the USA.

Rosa is a sensitive and extraordinary young woman who lives here in Palm Bay and is a published poet, a certified car mechanic, a theosophist, a historian and a typewriter repair technician.

This coming Sunday, July 19th 2026, Larry Abdullah will give a talk at Yogashakti Mission from 9 - 10 AM on "The Gnostics".

Early mystical Christian Groups who believed in " gnosis" or direct knowledge of spiritual truth. The writings discovered at Nag Hammadi in 1945 provide direct insight into their mystical and esoteric worldviews. Larry will share his knowledge with us on this important topic.

This coming Sunday, July 12th 2026, Phillip Lovell will give a presentation at Yogashakti Mission rom 9 - 10 AM on "Life in a Buddhist Nunnery in Nepal".

Phillip has recently returned from remote areas of Bhutan and Nepal where he spent time joining the practices of the Buddhist monks and nuns. He will share his experiences with us, including observations about the similarities and differences between Hinduism and Buddhism.

Meet in the kitchen building at Yogashakti Mission. All are welcome.

This Saturday, July 4th there will be a Vegetarian American Picnic served at 12 noon at Yogashakti Mission. The menu will include:

- Home-made Chickpea burgers (made by Anna and Megan) in a whole wheat bun with lettuce and tomato;
- Corn on the cob;
- Coleslaw salad with organic cabbage (made by Anna);
- Baked bean dish (Made by MaryAnn);
- Fries;
- Gnochi by Brad;
- Apple Pie rolls (made by Jen);
- Water Melon;
- Lemonade.

Suggested donation $15 per person.
