Hi All, We have been busy! As you can see from the photos, God's Pantry serves a large amount of food every week. 2nd Harvest provides the majority of the food. God's Pantry serves the needy in the Palm Bay and Brevard County Fl. community and is now serving approximately 1000/1100 people per week. Because of the pantry's growth in 3 years, Gods' Pantry is in need of its own facility.as it has outgrown the use of the Church's Fellowship Hall and can no longer operate efficiently in this facility.
God's Pantry has been accepting donations since November of 2018 and has reached over 10% of its' goal. Presently
there are several matching gifts on the table: 1 for $5000 and 5 for $1000 each. Please consider a donation to God's Pantry Building Fund in any amount, so the actual start of the building can commence on the RSLC campus. Building cannot start until the goal of approximately $100,000 is attained.

Donations may be sent to: God's Pantry Building Fund c/o Risen Savior Lutheran Church, 2220 Port Malabar Blvd., Palm Bay, FL 32951.
Risen Savior is a 501 c/3 non-profit org. and God's Pantry operates with 100% volunteers.

Thank you for your consideration and help.

God's Pantry – a ministry of Risen Savior Lutheran Church, Palm Bay, Florida 32905

What is God's Pantry? God's Pantry - renamed after coming to Risen Savior 3 years ago- is a ministry of Risen Savior Lutheran Church. It is staffed fully by volunteers, including a qualified director, operates on and from the campus of Risen Savior providing and distributing hundreds of meals weekly, on Wednesdays, in the afternoon. Provided to the needy is fresh vegetables, fruit, milk when available, breads, baked goods, frozen meat when available and dry goods.

Where does the food come from? The food that is provided for the clients is obtained predominantly from Second Harvest, a non-profit operating in our area out of Orlando. God's Pantry is considered by Second Harvest as a preferred pantry to work with. God's Pantry serves the needy in BrevardCounty, primarily from the Palm Bay area. At least 3-5 pallets of food are distributed weekly, plus when available, pallets of potatoes, onions, carrots and other fruits and vegetables.

Who is being fed? People residing in Brevard County who meet need requirements stipulated by the relevant government agencies that we are required to abide by. A better way to answer is, the people being helped are multi-ethnic and multi-generational, from various faith backgrounds as well as those professing no faith. We try to make all welcome while still meeting criteria and operating under the regulations expected of us.

Who are our volunteers? In some cases, the volunteers are also clients, giving back because they appreciate what the ministry has given to them. Some volunteers are members of Risen Savior. Some are members of other churches and some are between churches. All are committed to keeping this ministry running as smoothly as possible, so we can be the best pantry in our area. God's Pantry is 100% volunteer operated.

What is needed? When God led the pantry to Risen Savior three years ago, the number of clients served was approximately 600 per week. The client served base has now grown to approximately 1500 per week. Because of the growing numbers of clients, God's Pantry has outgrown the space allotted to it in the church Fellowship Hall and a new space is required. What is going to be done is provide a building for God's Pantry's use on the campus of Risen Savior. This building will allow God's Pantry to provide for the clients much more efficiently. Efficiency is the key word.

How you can help – To provide this new facility for God's Pantry, we will have to raise $100,000.00. That will be the total cost of the building-on site. Therefore, it is necessary to ask you, your friends, your places of employment, businesses you do business with, to help spread the word to provide the funding for this much needed building for God's Pantry. Churches offering financial support will be recognized and others can receive receipts for their 501-c3 contribution. Please join with us to help us provide this more efficient place for God's Pantry to continue to grow and provide for their needy clients. All donations should be addressed to God's Pantry Building Fund c/o Risen Savior Lutheran Church, 2220 Port Malabar Blvd., Palm Bay, Florida 32905. Please note on donation: God's Pantry Building Fund.
Risen Savior is a 501-c-3 non-profit organization.

Funding started November 11, 2018. How you help is up to you, but please consider joining us in something God is truly directing in our community. THANK YOU and God bless!

God's Pantry ministry of Risen Savior Lutheran Church, Plam Bay, FL

* When God's Pantry came to Risen Savior Lutheran Church 3years ago, the number of clients served was approximately 500/600 per week.
* Since that time, the number served has increased to approximately 1500 per week.
* The Pantry serves those in need from Palm Bay and the surrounding communities.
* The church allows the use of the Fellowship Hall and because of the pantry's' growth, they have reached the point that they need their own space to function properly.

Because of the need for their own space, the church is going to build a separate building at the rear of the parking lot on the church campus. Risen Savior is a small congregation and because of that, we must seek grants and donations from outside the church in order to have this building for the pantry to operate from efficiently.

God's Pantry, being a ministry of Risen Savior is a 5013c non-profit organization and therefore any monies received are tax deductable. All donors will be showcased in the new Pantry building.

Would you please help us get this build this building by making a donation to the building fund in the amount of $25.00--- $50.--- $100.--- $500.--- Other---
All monies received will go towards building this new facility.
Please send donation to- God's Pantry c/o Risen Savior Lutheran Church, 2220 Port Malabar Blvd., Palm Bay, FL 32905
Thank you and God Bless.

Hi again. I'm new at this as you can tell. Same post as before. Need hasn't changed. God's Pantry is a ministry of Risen Savior Lutheran Church in Palm Bay Florida. God's Pantry came to RSLC 3 years ago and has grown 3X since then. Approx. 1500 souls receive food each Wednesday. They have outgrown the Fellowship Hall at the church and we would like to put them in their own building on the church campus.😊 We are a very small congregation and can't do it w/o outside funding. A bare bones steel building will cost $100,000. 36X44. Ready to move in. Sounds like a lot of money and it is. That's why we need your help. If you can find it in your heart, we would appreciate it if you could send a donation to Risen Savior Lutheran Church- 2220 Port Malabar Blvd.- Palm Bay Florida 32905. non-profit org. EIN # 591292881 If you send a check please mark it Pantry Building. Thank you!!!!

Time for an update to God's Pantry Needs A New Home.

We are starting to receive donations, and that is wonderful. We have a long way to go. Was notified yesterday that the food pantry distributed 100,000 pounds of food from our church fellowship hall this past year. WOW!!! That is the reason they need their own building to work from. PLEASE HELP with a donation. We need to make this happen and with your help we can accomplish it. Thanks from RSLC.
