In August, we returned to the SOS Children’s Village in Vari, Greece—not for a one-time handover, but as part of a commitment that continues.

The water purification systems funded by Aqua for All Foundation and installed and maintained with our local partner, NEARON YDOR, are cared for on a regular schedule. Because access to clean, safe drinking water depends not only on installing the right system, but on making sure it continues to work year after year.

Every visit is an opportunity to check, listen and ensure that the systems continue serving the children and staff who rely on them every day.

We are grateful to SOS Children’s Villages Greece for their trust and cooperation, and to NEARON YDOR for the ongoing technical care.

Aqua Africa Foundation is now Aqua for All Foundation.

Our name has changed because our work has grown. What began with a promise inspired by Africa now continues wherever children and people in need deserve access to clean, safe drinking water—from children’s homes and shelters in Greece to the communities we are working to reach in the United States.

Our commitment has not changed. We do not simply fund equipment and walk away. We support reliable water purification systems, work with local specialists, and stay involved—so clean water keeps flowing for years.

Ensuring Access to Clean Water for Children in SOS Children's Villages in Greece!

In Greece, approximately 18% of the country's territory has been identified as at risk of nitrate pollution. This pollution stems from the runoff of contaminants originating from industrial and agricultural activities, ultimately finding their way into tap water sources!

To address this pressing issue, we have initiated a project called "aQua4all" aimed at financing the installation and upkeep of clean water treatment systems in every home within the SOS Children's Villages in Greece!

However, we cannot achieve this goal alone! We need your support! Your contribution can make a significant difference in the lives of these children who are in dire need of clean water. By donating to the "aQua4all" project, you will play a vital role in ensuring that these young individuals have access to a basic necessity that is often taken for granted!
