WOW, we had so much fun slinging pancakes and more at Palisade Bluegrass and Roots Festival last weekend!! By our rough count, more than 750 pancakes were served and we sold out of everything! Thank you to everyone who enjoyed and supported us!

Do YOU have what it takes to be our next Town Grouch?

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCECMENT!!!!!

Who: Palisade Lions Club
What: Town of Palisade – Town Grouch Contest 2026
Where: Greater Palisade Area
When: Saturday June 6th – Wednesday, August 12th
Why: Raise funds for Palisade Lions Club’s support of Palisade Parks

Forms should be dropped off at the Town of Palisade Office, 175 East 3rd Street in Palisade.

Palisade Lion’s Club will be hosting its 41st annual Town Grouch Contest. Every year the Palisade Lions Club helps the community select its most prestigious representative, The Town Grouch!

This year, voting begins on June 6th with the announcement at the Palisade Bluegrass & Roots Festival and ends with the “Crowning” of the new Grouch by last year’s Grouch at the Peach Festival Ice Cream Social on August 15th.

Some famous, some infamous, all the former Grouches are immortalized on signs in and around Palisade. You or someone you nominate could join this group of local grouchy superstars! This year’s proceeds with benefit Palisade Parks.

GET EXCITED!!! COMMUNITY YARD SALE TIME!!!

The Palisade CO Lions Club is hosting our 5th Annual Community Yard Sale on Saturday, March 14th, from 9am until 3pm in the Palisade Gym located at 711 West 7th Street.

Donations will be accepted at the Palisade Gym on Friday, March 13th, from 1pm until 5pm and are very much appreciated!

This is a great fundraising opportunity that helps us fund more community projects, support Palisade parks, provide eye care and scholarships, and more!

This morning, the Palisade CO Lions Club visited with some of the students of Taylor Elementary School to teach them about the American flag! The students were very engaged and many of them shared that they had grandparents, parents and other family members who have served or are serving in the military. Both The Lions and the students enjoyed the visit!

We are very excited to host our 65th Annual Easter Egg Hunt taking place at 9am on Sunday, April 5th, at Veterans' Memorial Park in Palisade! This year, we will be partnering with the Palisade American Legion Auxiliary Lincoln Post, Unit 50!
