If you are a Colorado resident, please consider signing this petition for a new state license plate…..

Colorado has over 60 specialty (vanity) license plates. Not one of them addresses mental health or su***de loss directly. Rocky Mountain Strong will be the first — and they need your signature to make it happen.

If approved, fees from the license plate will go directly to support mental health and su***de awareness in Colorado.

To be eligible to sign this petition:
1. You must reside in the state of Colorado;
2. You must be at least 18 years of age;
3. You must provide your county of residence; and
4. You must be a registered vehicle owner in the state of Colorado.

Give Back through yoga ♥️

We do our yoga festival a little bit differently. Yes, we do ALL the different yoga classes BUT at the end 100% of our proceeds go to mental health & su***de awareness in the Grand Valley 🙏🏼

Why? Because for the last decade Mesa County’s su***de rates have consistently been higher than the state and national averages. And Colorado ranks 41st in the nation for access to mental health resources.

Thank you to ALL of our sponsors, presenters, volunteers and attendees BECAUSE of you this year we were able to give back $15k to our community ♥️🙏🏼🤗

Recipients included:

💛 CMU NAMI - a student led mental health club at Colorado Mesa University.

🧡 Orange Door Wellness Community - Orange Door is a nonprofit organization committed to providing resources and opportunities for people to grow, learn, and prioritize their well-being. They also do a lot with local recovery programs.

💚 Heartbeat - a local grief support group for those who have had su***de loss.

💙 Harmony Acres Equestrian Center - provides Animal Assisted Psychotherapy, a form of mental health treatment that offers individuals the opportunity to work with animals and a therapy team. They do a lot to assist our at risk youth and veteran groups.

💜 Second Wind - provides free counseling sessions to at-risk youth on the Western Slopes.

Why do we do the Grand Valley Yoga Fest?

We do it to give back to our community. Every ticket sale directly impacts mental health and su***de awareness programs in the Grand Valley.

We can’t think of a better reason to do yoga with you 💚

We are so GRATEFUL for those have served us either through the military or as a first responder so we want to offer a FREE yoga class at the Grand Valley Yoga Fest just for you 🇺🇸🚑🚒

The class is for all veterans and first responders at any fitness ‘level’. All are welcome and will be led by the amazing Christine Moore 🙏
