Western Slope Fungophiles Spreading the spores of love! A place where people can gather and learn about mushrooms on the western slope of Colorado. That's our main goal.

We can organize forays and other events that will help our planet and educate ourselves about the ever feared shrooms.....oh scary!...NOT REALLY. To teach that there is nothing to be scared about. The benefits FAR outweigh the negatives. And they are really fun to hunt.

Sat foray cancelled...Raining sideways and rained all night..feel like a wet dog.. in the low 40s...Think I will wait till tomorrow

Gonna have another "beginner foray" This Sat on the Grand Mesa at County line trailhead at 10am. For the people who have never mushroom hunted before, but anyone is welcome to come and help as well:)
