🎉 City-Wide Fall Cleanup Day🎉
🗓 Saturday, October 18, 2025
🕗 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
📍 Transfer Station – 517 ACR 3694 (off Hwy 79)

The City of Palestine is funding a FREE Fall Cleanup Day for eligible residents. This is a great opportunity to dispose of unwanted items at no charge.

✅ What You Can Bring:

Each household may bring:
One (1) 16-foot trailer OR
Two (2) regular truck-sized loads

Accepted Items:
🗑️ Solid waste: household garbage, furniture, lumber, shingles, dried paint
🔩 Metal items: sheet metal, pipe, scrap iron, cast iron
🔌 Large appliances: refrigerators, washers, dryers, A/C units, TVs
🚗 Tires: Up to 4 car or light truck tires without rims per household
(No tractor or large truck tires accepted)

🚫 Items Not Accepted:
❌ Household chemicals: drain cleaners, liquid paint, cleaning supplies
❌ Hazardous waste: herbicides, pesticides, automotive fluids, acids

🔍 Eligibility – Read Carefully:
This event is for City of Palestine residents only with active water accounts.
✔️ You must present a current water bill AND a photo ID that matches the name and address on the bill.

📞 Residents with certain health restrictions may qualify for curbside pickup.
