1964 Palestine Wildcat Texas State Football Champions - 50 Years 50 years ago, the PHS Wildcats won the Texas AAA Football Championship. PHSAA wants to see that each of these men is honored with a Championship Ring.

50 years ago, the Palestine Wildcats won the Texas AAA Football Championship. The Palestine High School Alumni Association (PHSAA) wants to see that each of these young men and their coaches (or survivors) are finally honored with a Championship Rng. There were no Championship Rings in 1964 and the PHSAA feels the 50th Anniversary is an appropriate time to honor the 1964 Wildcats with Championship

Rings. With the support of the alumni of Palestine High School, the people of Palestine, the City of Palestine, and the Palestine Independent School District, the PHSAA has begun a special project to raise funds in the amount of $12.000 for the rings. Any excess raised will go into the general scholarship fund to fulfill the PHSAA mission to "support the students, faculty, and administration to further strengthen the educational accomplishments of Palestine Independent School District."
