Brookshires' employees ready to add your donation amount at checkout. Come on out to support the Spirit of Christmas Food Drive going on now until Dec. 16. Thanks to everyone that come out last night and we will continue to have a Kiwanis Greeter each night to show our appreciation for you donations and provide more information about the project

K-Kids of A.M. Story Intermediate School in the Palestine ISD in Palestine, Texas are off to a great start this year. Advisor Kevin Nesmith was recognized with a award for his unwavering years of service to the K-Kids Club. The students are planning some much appreciated projects at there school and our community. Lt. Governor Billie Dyer and Norma and Craig Bryant represented the sponsoring Kiwanis Club of Palestine and talked to the members about a life of service begins with them. The club has over 70 members this year.

We need your help with our Spirit of Christmas Food Boxes. We have 75 families from Palestine ISD that are in need of help with food during the holidays. We try to provide as much food as possible that the children will be able to eat without cooking or by using a microwave. Many of these families have children that stay at home during the Christmas break from school while their parents are at work. The school district provide the buses and the drivers donate their time to do this. Our club has been providing this service to families for almost 20 years. Donations can be made at Brookshires by adding a monetary amount to your purchase or you can safely use the link below to go directing to our project fund.
