What an accomplishment Officer Varnado! If you don't remember, he was our 1st Place 10.5 mile loop finisher last year! Seems like that is a short run for him now!

🏃‍♂️ History Made. Mission Accomplished.

On May 3rd, Officer M. Varnado did something that has never been done before.

He ran 44.13 miles from the Palestine Police Department to the Tyler Police Department Faulkner Park Substation—finishing in an incredible time of 8:43:48.

Let that sink in.

No shortcuts. No stopping. Just grit, discipline, and a purpose bigger than himself.

This wasn’t just a run—it was a commitment to our community and to the future of our seniors. Every step was taken in support of PHS Project Graduation, helping ensure a safe and meaningful celebration for our students.

We are beyond proud of Officer Varnado. His determination, heart, and willingness to push beyond limits is nothing short of inspiring.

He didn’t just complete the run—he set the standard.
