Membership Monday☀️

June marks the beginning of a new Altrusa year—and a new opportunity to make a difference in Anderson County!🌻

Altrusa International of Anderson County welcomes people from all walks of life who share a desire to serve their community. Our members represent a variety of ages, backgrounds, careers, interests, and experiences. Some work full-time, some work part-time, some are retired, and some are focused on family or other pursuits.

What unites us is a commitment to literacy, service, leadership, and friendship.
If you're looking for a meaningful way to get involved, we'd love to welcome you!

✨ Together We Shine ✨

Altrusa Anderson County was proud to sponsor a table in this year’s annual United Way meal-packing event, working alongside several organizations and community partners to help make a difference for those in need.

Our members packed 15 boxes at an Altrusa-staffed table and 18 boxes at the Altrusa sponsored table, for a total of 33 boxes. With 32 meals in each box, that adds up to 1,056 meal kits (6,336 meals) packed by Altrusans!🎉

This event is a wonderful reminder of what can be accomplished when people come together with a shared purpose. Through collaboration, service, and teamwork, we helped provide hope and nourishment to many families.

Thank you to everyone who volunteered and supported this important annual event. Together, we truly shine! ✨💙

We are absolutely thrilled to share that for this Altrusa club year, volunteers dedicated a whopping 6,547 service hours to our community!
From literacy projects to community feeding programs and everything in between, every single hour represents a helping hand, a shared smile, and a stronger community.

A massive thank you to our dedicated Altrusans who gave their time, heart, and energy this year, and to everyone who supported our mission. We can’t wait to see what we can accomplish together in the year ahead! 🌟

Grab a friend and join us for our next Altrusa Program Meeting! 🧺✨
We are coming together to participate in a meaningful service project, and we would love to have you there. We will be filling appreciation baskets to give back to our community! A light meal will be provided.

🗓️ When: June 15th @ 6:00 PM
📍 Where: Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Palestine
🎒 What to bring: A box or two of packaged snacks, drink mix packets, or bottled sport drinks.

Can’t make it to the meeting but still want to help out? No problem at all! Message us directly here—we can coordinate a pickup or drop-off for your donations.
