Congratulations to Palestine Lodge 31 newest Master Masons. Father and Son, Lance Rogers and Jaydon Rogers. It was a special occasion as both Master Masons were presented their family heirloom Mason rings by their wife, and wife-to-be. They also prepared the wonderful lunch that we sat down to eat after the ceremony.. The blueberry lemon cupcakes were especially nice. ;)
It was a proud day for the Father and son duo. The proud and accomplished look of their faces will be something that I will always remember. Also to add, Jaydon is the youngest Master Mason that Palestine has received. Good luck towards both of your Masonic careers. SMIB

Last night, we at Palestine Lodge 31, celebrated our 175th anniversary. We were joined by friends, family and Brothers from across the great state of Texas.. including Brothers from the Grand Lodge of Texas! Good food, music and merriment were shared by all. Not to mention the outstanding program put on by PM, current Lodge Secretary/Historian, author and adventurer extraordinaire, Charles Steen.. Steen was able to locate relics that were thought to be long lost that belong to the Lodge. He's like a smooth blend of both Moses and Indiana Jones.. if you know you know ;) a special thanks to Palestine Herald Press for coverage. It's almost time for the second, Annual E. Lee Steen memorial golf tournament.

It was a ton of fun, last year and several goodies were won by the participants. There will be several coolers of complimentary water throughout the course to stay hydrated. Food, prizes and awards. Come out and have a good time for a good cause.

You never know what "Rabbi" Rosenbaum will show up to Palestine Council No. 20 Royal and Select Masters in. Tonight he chose his '66 Mustang.. And I'm glad he did :)
