🎪 Calling All MACS Student Volunteers! 🎪

The Palermo PTC is looking for MACS student volunteers to help make our upcoming school carnival a success!

We need volunteers to:
🎯 Run carnival games
🎟️ Hand out tickets

Volunteering is a great way to give back to the school community, earn service hours, and have fun while helping others!

📅 THIS FRIDAY, June 12th
⏰ Setup 3:30-5:00pm, Game Attendant from 6:00-7:30, Clean Up 7:30-8pm
📍 Palermo Elementary School

📣 Palermo PTC Elections – Tuesday, June 9th at 4:00 PM 📣

Interested in helping make a difference for our students, staff, and school community? Join us for our PTC Elections on Tuesday, June 9th at 4:00 PM.

If you would like to run for a board position but are unable to attend the meeting, please contact us by Monday at 6:00 PM so your name can still be included.

We are still seeking volunteers to fill the positions of Volunteer Coordinator and Public Relations Coordinator. If you're interested in either role, we'd love to hear from you!

Looking ahead, PTC meetings for the 2026-2027 school year will be held once a month on Tuesdays at 4:00 PM, making it easy to stay involved and informed throughout the year.

Board members are expected to assist with at least 6 of our 8 annual events throughout the school year to help ensure their success.

We encourage all parents, guardians, and supporters to get involved and help shape another great year at Palermo Elementary!

🫧🎉 FOAM + BUBBLE PARTY! 🎉🫧

Reminder that Palermo students will be celebrating with a Foam + Bubble Party on Monday, June 8th!

If you do not want your student to participate, please contact your student's teacher or Ms. Carpenter ASAP.

Students should bring:
✅ A change of clothes
✅ A towel
✅ Goggles (optional, if preferred)

A special thank you to Ms. Carpenter for organizing this event which was funded by the Palermo PTC, made possible through all of your fundraising support throughout the school year. Thank you for helping us provide fun experiences like this for our students! 🫶

We can't wait to see everyone have a bubbly good time! 🫧☀️

🎪 SAVE THE DATE – Palermo Elementary End of Year Carnival! 🎪

Join us on FRIDAY, JUNE 12th from 5:30–7:30 PM as we celebrate the end of another amazing school year with an evening full of fun, games, and memories!

*** Please note the date is different than what is printed in the school calendar. The Carnival is on Friday, June 12th - NOT Thursday, June 11th.***

✨ Jeff the Magic Man kicks off the evening with a magic show from 5:30–6:00 PM, and carnival games will open right after the show!

🌮 New this year: We’re excited to welcome Mamma’s Brunch Buggy Food Truck!

🎟 Every student will receive a punch card including: • 1 Popcorn
• 1 Cotton Candy
• 3 Dunk Tank Throws

Want to earn extra dunk tank throws? Help us give back! Bring donations of non-perishable food items, pet food, kitty litter, pet toys, and other pet supplies.
❤️ Earn 1 additional dunk tank throw for each item donated!
