Among rookie defenders in the WCHA, she ranked first in goals (6️⃣), second in assists (7️⃣) and first in points (1️⃣3️⃣) in conference games 👀

She is just the 2️⃣nd blueliner and 🔟th overall player in program history to be named to the all-rookie team 💪

Way to go Lexi!

After a sterling performance this past weekend, first-year goalie Lexi Badali of (RV) College of Saint Benedict hockey has earned her second Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Hockey Defensive Player of the Week honor in 2025-26.

Badali allowed just one goal over 119 minutes and 48 seconds of action, finishing the weekend with 67 saves, a 0.50 goals-against average and a .985 save percentage. The honor marks the second MIAC weekly award of the season for Badali, who previously earned the distinction on Dec. 8, 2025.

BENNIES WIN!!! First-year center Helena Siska had two goals while junior forward Ella Tuccitto added another and first-year goalie Lexi Badali registered a shutout as (RV) College of Saint Benedict Hockey (12-4-4, 7-3-3 MIAC) moved into third place in the conference with a 3-0 win over (RV) Gustavus Adolphus (10-8-2, 7-4-2 MIAC).

With the win, the Bennies ended a 17-game slide to the Gusties. Badali had 30 saves in recording her second career shutout. Siska now has 10 goals on the season while Tuccitto has seven.

The Windy City Storm would like to congratulate 19U Saoirse McGrath on her commitment to attend and play college hockey for Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts! Saoirse has been an excellent addition to the Windy City Storm family this season. With her dedication, willingness to learn and positive attitude she has excelled in becoming a force to be reckoned with on and off the ice. We look forward to watching you play! Go Trailblazers!

The Windy City Storm would like to congratulate 19U Alina Jasinski on her commitment to attend and play hockey for Chatham University located in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. Alina is a highly skilled player who will immediately contribute to the team. Her strong work ethic on and off the ice, coupled with her dedication to her craft make her extremely coachable and valuable to any team. We wish her the absolute best! Go Cougars!
