Bono Boy Foundation Providing doggie scholarships to less adoptable and senior dogs through the sale of our all-natural, gourmet dog treats: BonoBoy Brew Biscuits!

Follow us on Twitter too ! On July 24, 2012 our beloved son Jack aka "Bono Boy" pased away at the age of eleven due to complications from cancer. Bono Boy had been found wandering the streets at the age of two and was caught and placed in the dog pound. Despite his good nature and Zen-like qualities, he went unadopted. Shortly before his scheduled demise he was rescued by friends and

shortly thereafter given to us. Bono Boy remained with us for the next 9 years where he continued to be one of the most well-behaved, faithful and loving companion anyone could ask for. He also touched many lives and was loved by all who were graced by his presence. In his passing, came the motivation to provide families with the same experience we were so luckily granted by creating the Bono Boy Foundation.

It was really hard for us to get another dog when our Bono Boy passed. But we are sure glad we did. There are too many dogs that need a chance at living their lives out with a loving family!

When I die, please don't say "I'll never have another dog." Search for the ones who are abandoned and forgotten. Give them a second chance and let them take my place.

Honor my life by saving another. 💛

Black dogs are too often overlooked at the shelter! Celebrate National Black Dog Day on October 1!

National Black Dog Day is October 1st. This is a special day devoted to highlighting the plight of black dogs in rescues around the country (all... too often, black dogs are unfairly overlooked in rescues because of many stigmas such as; the color black is evil, black dogs do not show up as well in photographs as muti-colored or light colored dogs and black dogs look scary and intimidating because you cannot see their facial expressions as easily, etc).

We would love to hear from rescues that have long stay black dogs that we can feature on our adoption board in the shop and we would also love to hear from those of you that have adopted a black dog as we want to put together a little montage of photos up on facebook of black rescue dogs on the 1st of October too! Thanks in advance☺️
