Check out this amazing White Oak (Quercus alba) on an old historic property in the Albany area of Athens County.. Big, beautiful, gnarly, with amazing structure. The landowner said there's a picture of the tree in his family historical records from 1892... and it was a a good sized Oak back then.

It came in at over 5' in diameter, a little over 85' tall, with a 102' average crown spread

Followed up on this lead of a MEGA Eastern Cottonwood (Populus deltoides) along the exercise path in the Parma area of Cuyahoga County.

It certainly didn't disappoint as you can see. A JUMBO single-stem in the prime of its life at an impressive 213" in circumference, over 109' tall, with a huge crown.

I can just imagine how much it will grow over the next 20 years or so.πŸ€”πŸŒ³πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸŒ³πŸ’ͺπŸŒ³πŸ‘€πŸŒ³
