We're back with another Committee member spotlight! This week, we're shining our spotlight on Felicia Hough. 🔦

Felicia is a big part of our Scholarship and Showcase Committees and is also Ian's aunt.

Felicia was drawn to being a board member because of the love for her family and to honor Ian's memory. When asked if she had a favorite memory from her time serving as a committee member, here's what she had to say:

"Truthfully, every year offers different memories. The talented performers at the showcase, annual scholarship recipients and continued generosity of our community members is nothing short of inspiring!"

She feels the best part of her involvement in ILF is simply doing something. She says:

"What started out as an idea by Kelly and Bill to "do something" following Ian's passing to honor him, has grown into a known and respected foundation to not only celebrate the arts that was so important to Ian, but to also offer education about substance use disorders. I am so proud of what they have accomplished and it's a privilege to be a part of Ian's Legacy Foundation."

We asked Felicia if she had any particular memories of Ian that she'd like to share, and here's what she focused on:

"During family events, whether a holiday or hanging out in the back yard, Ian had his guitar with him. A specific memory that makes me smile is when the entire family spent a long weekend at a house in Hocking Hills. We all sat around a big fire and listened to Ian just play in the background while we talked and laughed about nonsense... He quietly just strummed the guitar and took it all in. 💜"

Thank you Felicia for being part of our team! 💜

We're back with another Committee member spotlight! This week, we're shining our spotlight on Julie O’Neil. 🔦

Julie is a big part of our Scholarship Committee as well the Showcase Committee!

Julie was drawn to being a board member because of her love for Ian and his family. "My support of the foundation's mission to continue Ian’s legacy by supporting those that are pursuing the arts, as well as promoting SUD programs and resources, drew me to serving as a committee member."

She feels the best part of her involvement in ILF is supporting the efforts of the Minnicks to keep Ian’s memory and love of the arts alive, while seeing the impact the foundation has on scholarship recepients.

We asked Julie if she had any particular memories of Ian that she'd like to share, and here's what she focused on:

"So many good memories of Ian and my son, Jake, laughing or playing music in the basement. Later, having Ian lean on and trust me when he needed it."

When we asked Julie if she had anything else she would like to share she said,

"The O’Neils and Minnicks just seemed to click from the start. The boys and Jake performing in various bands together, travel (here in Belize in 2014), boating, to just being there for each other."

Thank you for being part of our team! 💜

Today we give a shoutout to “Give Em a Bit." This improvisational group always keeps us entertained and leaves us laughing. During our annual 2026 Showcasing the Arts, the group performed high energy comedy games.
