Did you miss out on the event this weekend? Check out this great one happening tomorrow at the Mentor Fire Department!

IS YOUR CHILD'S CAR SEAT INSTALLED CORRECTLY? LET US HELP!

Your child's safety is too important to leave to chance! 💙

Did you know that even a small mistake when installing a car seat can make a big difference in protecting your child during a crash? Whether you're a new parent, a grandparent, or a caregiver who just needs a refresher, we're here to help!

🚨 Join us TOMORROW for our Car Seat Safety Check!

📅 Thursday, October 15, 2026
⏰ 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
📍 Mentor Fire Department
8467 Civic Center Drive, Mentor, OH 44060

Stop by and learn how to properly install and use your child's car seat or booster seat. You'll have the opportunity to:

✅ Check that your car seat is installed correctly.
✅ Make sure your child is using the appropriate seat for their age, height, and weight.
✅ Learn when it's time to transition to the next type of car seat or booster.
✅ Get answers to your child passenger safety questions.

Remember, car seat safety doesn't stop after the first installation! As children grow, their safety needs change. Taking a few minutes to have your child's seat checked can make a difference when it matters most.

💙 The most important passengers deserve the best protection!

Help us keep Mentor's littlest passengers safe by sharing this reminder with parents, grandparents, and caregivers throughout our community!

Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month

Behind every loss is a baby who was loved, a mother who remembers, and a story that deserves to be held with care.

We chose the pink carnation to represent a mother’s love and the beauty of remembrance.

To every mother who has experienced loss, we see you. Your baby matters. Your grief matters. Your love will always matter. You don’t have to navigate this loss alone, and you don’t have to grieve on anyone else’s timeline.

May we continue to make space for these mothers, honor their babies, and remind them that they are loved and supported, not just this month, but always.

🩷 You are seen. You are remembered. You are not alone.

🔎 LOST & FOUND | COMMUNITY BABY SHOWER

We have a few things left behind from yesterday’s Community Baby Shower, and we’d love to get them back to their owners!

Green YETI mug: If you lost yours, we have it! Send us a message to claim it.

Bags of girls’ clothing: If you accidentally left these bags behind, please reach out to us!

Black wagon: If you accidentally walked off with a black wagon that doesn’t belong to you, we kindly ask that you please return it!

Please send us a DM if any of these items belong to you or if you have information that could help us reunite them with their owners.
