✨💥 FLASHBACK FRIDAY! 💥✨

Look at where it all began! 🍼💛

This was our very first Community Baby Shower, and this year we are getting ready for our 5th annual Community Baby Shower! 🎉

Five years of showing up for local parents and families. Five years of providing free baby items, helpful tools, valuable resources, and a little extra support for families who may be facing struggles we can’t always see.

Because the truth is, everyone has their own struggles. And if we can make things just a little bit easier for a family, then that’s something worth doing.

We absolutely could not do this without YOU, our community. Every donation, every volunteer, every partnership, and every person who helps spread the word is a part of what makes this event possible.

So from the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU for being the best community! 🩵

And a very special THANK YOU to BLK OUT Strength Training for being a continuous and incredibly generous supporter of the Community Baby Shower by donating a portion of your proceeds each month. We are beyond grateful for your continued support and your commitment to helping families in our community. 🧡

We are proud to share that Community Baby Shower Board Members Shauna Rich (President) and Pam Hetrick (Treasurer) recently met with the office of U.S. Representative David Joyce to raise awareness about the impact the Community Baby Shower has on families throughout Lake, Geauga, and Ashtabula counties.

Their conversation focused on the ongoing need for essential resources that help keep babies safe and healthy, including car seats, car seat installation assistance, and other basic necessities that many families struggle to afford.

Advocating for local families is an important part of our mission. Every conversation, partnership, and connection helps us work toward a future where every baby has a safe start and every family knows they have a community behind them.

We’ll be collecting donations to help local babies and families in need. Every diaper, pack of wipes, baby item, and monetary donation helps us continue our mission of humans helping humans. 💙

Every baby deserves a strong start, and every parent deserves to know they have a community standing beside them. The Community Baby Shower exists to remind families that they are not alone. Through the generosity of our community, we are able to provide essential items and support to local families when they need it most.

💗 Did You Know? 💗

This year, the Community Baby Shower is accepting postpartum recovery items such as peri ice packs, adult diapers, postpartum pads, and other essential hygiene products for new moms.

When a baby is born, a mother is born too. While everyone celebrates the newest little arrival, many moms quietly navigate the physical and emotional challenges of recovery without the supplies they need. For some families, purchasing postpartum care items simply isn't in the budget.

That's where our village comes in.

By donating postpartum essentials, you're helping a mother feel seen, cared for, and supported during one of the most vulnerable seasons of her life. These simple items provide comfort, dignity, and a reminder that she doesn't have to do recovery alone.

Together, we can wrap new moms in the love and support of our community and ensure they have the necessary supplies to heal and care for themselves while caring for their little one.

Because every mom deserves a village. 💕

Be sure to stop by and see us tomorrow at the Leroy Twp Days!! Not only will The Community Baby Shower be there collecting donations, the parade kicks off at 3:00pm, there will be a live band at 6pm with a great fireworks display at dusk!

IT’S TEN DOLLAR TUESDAY!!!

We are four months out from our big event and would love your help in ensuring that we can make sure each family that we serve can leave with all of the essential items we’ve been working on acquiring for them.

Today we are trying something new! If you have $10 to spare, please help us spread the word. All funds donated will go to local families in need. These funds will help purchase diapers, wipes, diaper cream, medication, thermometers, sleep sacks, safe sleeping surfaces, etc.

Donations can be made via Venmo or directly on our website under the Financial Donations section. We can’t wait to see how far our community can take this because it really does take a village to support those who need it most 🌈
