As we get ready for the 2026–2027 school year, we wanted to share that……

End 68 Hours of Hunger Lake County is celebrating our 12th year of supporting kids in our community!

You might be wondering when we plan to start our deliveries. We’re hoping to begin distributing our food bags by the end of September. Life has definitely been “lifeing,” lately (as the kids say 😂) but we’ve been working hard behind the scenes to get everything ready. Soon, we’ll be back to providing nutritious, tasty food bags to area schools for children who need a little extra support over the weekend.

Stay tuned! We’ll be sharing our official start date with everyone soon.

Thank you for continuing to support our mission, and the kids of Lake County. We’re so excited for another year!
Meredith & Tracy 💛

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that End 68 Hours of Hunger Lake County was selected by the Raymond James Charitable Board of Trustees to receive a grant for the 2026 funding cycle of the Raymond James Charitable Grant Initiative!

As a partner with Raymond James Financial, Raymond James Charitable is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to strategically invest in the communities it serves. This incredible grant of $22,500 will be used to purchase food for the 2026–2027 school year, helping us continue feeding local children who depend on our program.

For community organizations like ours, donations like this truly change lives. We don’t sit on large reserves or extra funding — every dollar that comes in goes right back out into feeding kids in our community. We rely on the generosity of donors, grants, and community support to keep our shelves stocked and our program running.
Because of this incredible gift, we can continue making sure local children have access to food for another year. That security means everything to us and to the families we serve.

To the Raymond James Charitable Board of Trustees — thank you for believing in our mission and investing in the children and families in Lake County. Your generosity will have a lasting impact on our community.

♥️ We are beyond grateful. ♥️

As we wrap up another school year, we want to send a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who supports End 68 Hours of Hunger Lake County. Yesterday marked our final food delivery of the 2025/26 school year and the completion of our 11th year serving children in our community.

None of this would be possible without YOU.

Thank you to every volunteer who gives their time to pack bags, organize supplies, shop, deliver, and help wherever needed. Thank you to those who donate food, make monetary contributions, donate services, host drives, and support us behind the scenes. Thank you to everyone who shares our posts, spreads awareness, and encourages others to get involved.

Every act of kindness matters. Every donation, every shared post, every hour volunteered helps us continue making sure local children have food for the weekends. Your support is what keeps us going year after year, and we are so grateful for this amazing community.

We are proud to be entering our 12th year and will be back packing bags and delivering food again in the fall, beginning in mid-September.

Until then, thank you for believing in our mission and helping us make a difference in the lives of Lake County children. ❤️

Thank you once again to Moving Ahead Services for coming to our rescue! We had an order that needed to be picked up and delivered, and their team handled everything seamlessly from start to finish.

With just one email, they scheduled the delivery exactly when we needed it and took care of all the logistics—arriving right on time and completing the entire pickup and delivery in less than an hour!

Your support means so much to us. The time, effort, and costs you save our organization allow us to focus more of our resources on feeding children in our community—and that makes a huge impact.

A special thank you to Jeff, Sean, and the entire team for your reliability, generosity, and for always being so wonderful to work with. We truly appreciate you!
