The next generation is watching. And listening. ❤️

The photographs we show them.
The names we teach them.
The stories we tell them.

These are the things that help our children and grandchildren know a generation they may never have had the chance to meet.

Vietnam veterans lived the history. 🇺🇸

It’s up to us to make sure their stories don’t disappear with time.

❤️ Tell them who they were.
❤️ Tell them what they did.
❤️ Tell them what they sacrificed.
❤️ Tell them why it matters.

Because when a story is passed down, it becomes a legacy carried forward.

🇺🇸❤️ WHAT. A. WEEKEND at the LEROY THOMPSON VFW ❤️🇺🇸

We pulled off a FANTABULOUSLY BUSY WEEKEND and we couldn’t be more proud! 🙌🔥

🥞 Saturday morning: We kicked things off with our Pancake Breakfast — stacks of pancakes, full bellies, and lots of smiles! 🥞😋

🏍️ Then it was off to support the Gray Riders Motorcycle Club Dice Run for Forbes House! We were proud to be the second stop and loved being part of such a great cause! 🏍️❤️

💍 Then… we had a VFW wedding celebration! Our very own AndiMae got married! 🥰💐 Congratulations to AndiMae & Zach — we wish you both a lifetime of love, happiness, and adventures!

🍦🇺🇸 And we wrapped it all up today at the VA with our Veterans Ice Cream Social! Nothing better than spending time with the veterans we are so proud to serve and support. ❤️🤍💙

From pancakes to motorcycles, celebrations to ice cream… THAT’S A WEEKEND! 😂🙌

A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who showed up, pitched in, volunteered, supported, laughed, worked, celebrated, and helped make it all happen!

This Saturday, August 15, the Leroy Thompson VFW Post 7939 is proud to be part of the Gray Riders Motorcycle Club Run benefiting Forbes House! 🏍️💨
