Did you walk through our livestock complex and notice the uniform mulch bedding in the cattle stalls? Or maybe you sat in the livestock arena and noticed the beautiful mulch footing our exhibitors showed on!

After an incredible week at the fair, it's only fitting that we take a moment to recognize someone who pours her heart into making our livestock program successful year after year.
Behind every show, every class, and every animal that enters the ring is someone who has spent countless hours making sure everything runs the way it should. From managing every animal that tags in, organizing and scheduling shows, answering questions, solving problems before most of us even know they exist, and making sure our exhibitors have every opportunity to succeed, our president does it all.

Her dedication goes far beyond what most people see. The early mornings, late nights, endless phone calls, paperwork, planning, and behind-the-scenes work often go unnoticed, but they are the foundation of everything we accomplish as a club. Her passion for our youth, our exhibitors, and our livestock program is evident in everything she does.

Regan, thank you for your unwavering commitment, your leadership, your patience, and the countless hours you give to this program. Your hard work doesn't go unnoticed, and we are so grateful for everything you do to make our fair week—and our entire year—a success.

Please join us in thanking our incredible president, Regan Binnig Demshar, for her dedication, selfless service, and the heart she brings to our livestock program every single day. We truly couldn't do it without you. 💙🐄🐖🐑

🍀✨The 2026 4-H Livestock Auction has officially come to a close!✨🍀

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who purchased livestock this year. Your support of our exhibitors and the 4-H program means so much. Because of you, our youth are able to continue learning valuable life skills through their projects and experiences.

We are grateful for each and every buyer who invested in our members this year. Thank you for making the 2026 auction a success!

The day is finally here! Registration begins at 10:00 AM, the Small Animal Sale starts at 12:00 PM, and the Large Animal Sale begins at 4:00 PM.

Don't forget—the Lake County 4-H Livestock Auction offers several ways to support our exhibitors, including auction purchases, left bids, and add-ons.

We've seen some outstanding animals come through the show ring this week, and now it's time to support the hard work and dedication of our 4-H members. The "M's" are bringing back Superstar Showmanship!

✨What is Superstar Showmanship?✨
Superstar Showmanship brings together the 1st Place Showmanship winners from each livestock species—beef, lamb, goat, poultry, and hogs—to compete in a unique cross-species competition.

Here's how it works: If you won 1st Place Showmanship in one species, you will compete by showing every other species except the one you won with. For example, if you were the Beef Showmanship Champion, you will show a hog, poultry, lamb, and goat—but not beef.

If your name is on this list, please report to the Livestock Arena at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, July 31, for a mandatory show information meeting. During this meeting, we will review the rules, point system, and the overall format of the competition.

If you are unable to attend the 9:00 a.m. meeting in person, you must contact Meredith Ruple before 11:00 a.m. to receive the necessary information.

We have great prizes for our winners, and this is an excellent opportunity to challenge yourself, learn about other livestock species, and have fun!
