Attention Glades residents, we invite you to attend a comprehensive health and wellness event at Pahokee Elementary School, designed for the entire family. The event will feature an array of complimentary health screenings, engaging activities, and valuable resources. A dedicated kids' station will be available while fathers undergo screenings. The following free screenings will be offered: diabetes, circulation, stroke assessment, brain health, vision, and cancer. Additionally, information and resource tables will provide insights into educational opportunities and financial resources.

🏠 Attention Palm Beach County Homeowners! 🏠

The SHIP Emergency Repairs Program is opening soon! The Palm Beach County Department of Housing and Economic Development has announced approximately $2,300,000 in available funding to help eligible low-income homeowners.

📋 Program Details:
Assistance: Up to $75,000 for emergency repairs (roofing, electrical, plumbing, structural, and hurricane hardening like impact windows/doors).

Priority Groups: Applicants age 62 and older, veterans, and/or individuals with special needs.

Property Value Limit: The property's appraised value cannot exceed $434,000.

Note: Properties with prior existing unpermitted work may be ineligible.
