Back at work to help others.

Haven't posted in quite some time. Alot has changed beginning with Covid shutdowns extending into 2021. Had to make alot of changes due to lack of funding and lost business with campgrounds that shutdown for a prolonged periods where we had verbal accessibility agreements on hold. But as parks began to open, alot of parks went through financial changes of their own. As a result we had to close our doors. I miss the industry, helping RV parks and campgrounds with ADA compliance as well manufacturers and industry friends. I guess God has another plan. I will keep this page open.

RV Parks becoming easy targets for disability discrimination lawsuits, mainly mom and pop parks who would rather settle than fight. And settlements without ADA improvements do nothing other than leave them vulnerable for more lawsuits.

Without assessments and proper planning, RV parks remain vulnerable to frivolous lawsuits. If considering an ADA assessment, please make sure you are dealing with professionally trained Accessibility Specialist as anyone can claim to be an ADA consultant.

Learn how to protect your RV park business from serial testers by going to www.rvingaccessibility.org and review our services. We've been helping the campground industry for nearly 6 years, including KOAs, Jellystone parks, Good Sam parks, ARVC member parks, and numerous parks from New Hampshire to California.

The founder of this charitable nonprofit has spoken across the United States on Accessibility in America and continues to educate businesses on the benefits of ADA compliance and the cost of non-compliance.

If you are a campground owner, we would like to help you develop another revenue stream while helping you protect your business from frivolous disability discrimination litigation.

We believe everyone deserves equal access to the great outdoors!

Our Story

RVing Accessibility Group is a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit providing education and technical assistance to the outdoor hospitality industry focusing on RV parks and campgrounds. We use our expertise as accessibility specialists to help park owners identify barriers that impede access by the disabled. We provide educational workshops as well as full scale on-site assessments to not only identify barriers, but determine the best way to remove those barriers without breaking the bank.

We operate from tax deductible donations by people who agree with our mission and want to advocate for equal access for all regardless of age, injury or illness. The business started in 2011 after the founder, Mark Douglass, was tired of all the barriers he encountered while RVing and using a wheelchair to get around. We are making an impact in the industry as we are considered the leaders in accessible leadership throughout the United States relative to RV park and campground accessibility management.

Supporters can help us continue our mission by donation to www.rvingaccessibility.org . Donations are fully tax deductible with our 501(c)(3) IRS status.
