So proud of our members of Mt Moriah and Macedonia Masonic Lodges. Six were created as Nobles of the Ancient and Accepted Nobles of the Mystic Shrine at the Gamecock Shrine Club in Sumter, SC on May 25, 2019. Brandon and Travis Hill, Drew Bragg, Michael McManus of Mt Moriah, Brandon Catoe and Daniel Horton of Macedonia Lodge. These Brothers and New Nobles made us proud! We had a good crowd from Pageland, Jefferson, Lancaster and Kershaw down to "help" these men make another step in our great Fraternity. Our condolences to the family of William Bryant Kennington. He was a friend, Brother of Mt Moriah Masonic Lodge #58 of Pageland, SC and a member of Sandhill Shrine Club. "Bill" was also an active member in his 70’s of the Dune Cats parade unit of Oasis Shrine Center of Charlotte, NC. The Kennington name is etched in the history of Pageland, SC. His father was a popular druggist in our area and he and his brothers George and John Kennington, that recently preceded him in death, were also beloved. He was a large and imposing figure in his early years and was nicknamed “Bull”. RIP, my Brother, job well done…

Thanks so much for the love and support we felt last night at the 1st Annual Shriners Race at Pageland Dragway. Pageland Dragway's generous support of a portion of the gate and the donations made by the competitors and spectators made the Shriner's Children Hospital patients the winners. Loved the atmosphere and families represented by this great sport and lifestyle. Sandhill Shrine Club was honored to be invited to participate with everyone there. All the money raised will be going directly for the treatment of "our" children that need care. If anyone has a child 18 or under that needs assistance from our 22 hospital's, please call 800-237-5055. Again, thank you, to Darron L. Deese & wife Becky and Danny McManus & their staff of Pageland Dragway and the racers and families that participated and the people that attended. Additional thanks to the members of D.R.A.P. (Drag Racing Association of Pageland).

Just wanted to shout out a big THANK YOU to all Jamil Temple Shriners with Illustrious Sir Lenoard Walker and all the Divan for supporting Sandhill Shrine Club with the celebration of the Watermelon Festival in Pageland. Fred Sharpe PP, Lance Carpenter, Curtis Hutchinson, and Stuart Smith were all on board and we appreciate you coming to our neck of the woods. Lenoard, Fred, and Lance even helped out in the kitchen! It was a huge success and we appreciate everyone's efforts in our behalf. Our chef was none other than Randall Mungo with assistance from our other members. A true bonding of Brothers working for growing our club back to the heights it once was.

I also thank the Jamil Honor Guard, Jamil Racers, Jamil's Kershaw Shrine Club Hillbillies, Jamil Cobras, Jamil Sportsters, Jamil Bums, Jamil Truckers, and our own Sandhill Shrine cutups! Thank you all for coming and showing our pride in being Shriners! Other units from Omar and Hejaz were with us and we appreciate them also.

Well the roofing has begun on the clubhouse. We are going by faith to reach our goal to fund it. Members decided to go with architectural shingles (for longer life and beauty). Everything is going to be in place for Watermelon Festival time on July 19th. Hope you can all join us that day. No special happenings, but the club will be open and cool.

Just want everyone to know, we have joined the Pageland Chamber of Commerce for 2014. Our clubhouse has had recent renovations with grounds and parking improved. We are available for rentals for the Christmas and New Years season.
