I want to say thanks again to The BLOOM Initiative for putting on yesterdays thriller performance.

The (predicted) rain made us change our day from Saturday to Sunday and Bloom had their own performance that night, so it was going to be them doing the Thriller for us then going inside to do their own show.

They still came out one day later to perform for everyone and I know it made it harder on them but I just wanted to thank them and let everyone know what a great job they did to accommodate our change of schedule.

Special thanks to Kenna Williams and The Paducah Sun for getting the word out on last Sundays walk.

After six years in the grave, Paducah’s Zombie Walk is rising this Saturday, Oct. 10, inviting the undead to roam the streets for a good cause.

I want to thank everyone that came out to walk with us today.

I want to thank my volunteers that came out and chipped in and did double duty to get this walk running smoothly as possible.

I want to thank The BLOOM Initiative for throwing a Thriller dance for our zombies.

I couldn’t have done it without you. This meant a lot to me seeing everyone come out and I hope everyone had a good time.

Pictures and videos to come in the next week.

I hope to see you all again next year and to make 2027 a bigger success than 2026!

We’re going back to our eternal slumber until next year.

Thanks,
Garrett and the rest of the PZW crew.
