We have finalized the details for our annual picnic, which is scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Venture River Water Park. This year, we are excited about the opportunity to gather in a fun and relaxing environment. We look forward to seeing everyone at the picnic!

Brothers and Sisters, it’s time to get together! We are proud to announce that our Annual Picnic is scheduled:
When: Saturday, June 13, 2026
Where: Venture River Water Park
Time: Park opens at 10:00 a.m. (lunch served at 11:00 a.m.)
We are working on finalizing the details to make this year’s picnic affordable for all members.

It is with deep sadness to inform you of the passing of Brother John S. Carter, of Arlington KY who departed this life at the age of 73 on April 22, 2026. Brother Carter was a dedicated and respectful member of the IBEW Local 816 for an impressive 53 years, contributing significantly to our community and the electrical industry at large.
Please join us in honoring his memory and celebrating his life. We encourage all who knew Brother Carter to share their thoughts and memories during this difficult time.

It is with deep sorrow that we report the passing of Brother Steven "Mark" Wayne Luttrell on April 9, 2026. Brother Luttrell served with dedication and passion as a 16-year member of IBEW Local 816. His contributions to the organization and commitment to his work will always be remembered by his colleagues and friends. In this difficult time, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Brother Luttrell’s family and loved ones.
