Empowered Solutions for Environmental Sustainability

Empowered Solutions for Environmental Sustainability Mismanaged post-consumer plastic waste is a global challenge.

Empowering those in developing or infrastructure-limited regions of the world to find energy security through low-cost, appropriate technology based solutions to both reduce plastic accumulation in the environment and provide economic opportunities. This crisis is compounded by the stark limitations often found in developing or infrastructure limited regions of the world. At Empowered Solutions fo

r Environmental Sustainability (ESES), we believe that, by combining “waste-to-energy” chemistry with a locally managed decentralized circular economy (LMDCE) model, we can provide significant long-lasting, positive influence in the regions that need it most.

🌱🌎 While Poly3.0 continues to turn plastic waste into fuel oil in our lab, our team has been raising awareness and funds in the local community!

🧠⛈️ In Paducah, Kentucky, USA, our team attended an event called EcoThink. EcoThink is sponsored by the and the Four Rivers Nuclear Partnership LLC. We mentored young students and taught them the importance of fighting plastic waste and developing sustainable and equitable solutions.

🤩🙌🏽 At this event FRNP made a donation to support our summer research trip to Kenya! This money will be put to good use this June when our team travels to Mombasa, Kenya to deliver Poly3.0 to the communities there!

We had a great time today participating in the Ecothink Event sponsored by the UK College of Engineering, Sprocket Paducah, and Four Rivers Nuclear Partnership, LLC. The topic for this year's event was Hack the Plastics and ESES volunteers helped to mentor the high school participants. It was great to see all the passion these young people had for fighting plastic waste. In addition, we are incredibly grateful for the generous donation made by FRNP to support our summer project in Kenya. The money will be put to good use this June when our team travels to Mombasa, Kenya to deliver our 3rd generation processor. If you'd like to help, our donation link is below.
