United With Immigrants United with Immigrants exists to ease the integration process for those immigrating to the United States. United with Immigrants is a 501(c)3 .

The mission statement "Working together to achieve the American Dream" addresses the community nature necessary to adjust to life in a new country. Services provided to immigrants include English as a Second Language (ESL) training, civics and citizenship test-preparation by an experienced instructor; social gatherings with community members to understand local customs and traditions; activities t

o practice language skills while learning colloquialisms and local dialects and vocabulary; safety and security with local members of emergency management and government. Services outsourced will include legal assistance, counseling and spiritual guidance. As legal and counseling have professional costs, we will work to obtain these services pro bono or discounted.

Thank you so much to Ashley at El Tequila. BBQ on the River was really busy and hopefully will prove fruitful! I don't know how they work a food truck. It was exhausting just being the help. It's totally worth it though. We have new American citizens naturalized every few months and lots of immigrants enrolled in English classes. THEY WANT TO LEARN and we are here to help.
