Home 2 Home is a non profit, foster-based rescue in the St. All of our dogs are placed in a safe, loving foster environment so they can put their best paw forward when looking for an adoptive home. We believe in placing dogs in homes that are compatible to their needs. Dogs are matched based off of home/fencing needs, temperament, family dynamics (kids, other pets), etc. This means less emotional turmoil for owners who adopt a dog that doesn’t fit and more stability for the dogs. 🐾💙 Meet Spooky! 💙🐾

This sweet boy is 4 months old and a Great Pyrenees who is still learning that the world isn't such a scary place. 🥹🤍

Spooky is a very shy baby, but he's making progress every day! He's doing okay with dogs and cats, and he's doing great with his potty training. We're so proud of this boy! 🐾

He loves his toys, his blankies, and of course, FOOD! 😂❤️ This boy is definitely a little foodie!

But my favorite thing about Spooky? When he finally lets his guard down, he turns into the MOST snuggly boy. 🥹 His fur is softer than soft, and his kisses are just as sweet.

He's learning that love is safe, that he doesn't have to be afraid, and that there are people who will be patient with him while he figures it all out.

Adopting Spooky means becoming part of his journey. It means giving him the patience to come out of his shell, the love to help him feel safe, and a home where he can grow into the confident, happy boy he's meant to be.

This beautiful 4-month-old Great Pyrenees girl is full of adventure, love, and a whole lot of puppy personality! 🥹🐾

Spidey is playful, curious, and loves exploring the world around her. She's doing great with potty training and learning more every day about what it means to be part of a loving home. 🏡❤️

She loves her foster siblings, playing with her toys, snuggling up with her blankies, enjoying her snacks, and taking those much-needed puppy naps. 😂🤍 And let's talk about her fur… SO soft! Her cuddles are just as sweet, too!

Spidey is learning that home means love, safety, full bellies, cozy blankets, and people who will always be there for her. 🥹

Now she just needs someone to continue that journey with her. ❤️

Bubs is a 5-year-old Lab/Golden Retriever mix with one of the calmest, sweetest personalities you could ever hope to find. This boy is all about the simple things in life: cuddles, cozy naps, and spending time with the people he loves. ❤️
Bubs gets along wonderfully with other dogs, cats, kids, and even chickens! He's incredibly sweet, affectionate, and easygoing. He's also housebroken and walks nicely on a leash!
If you're looking for a lower-energy companion who would be perfectly happy lounging around with you, Bubs might just be your dream dog. Whether you're watching TV, enjoying a lazy weekend, or settling in for an afternoon nap, he's ready to be right there beside you. 🥰

Autumn is proof that sometimes the sweetest transformations happen when a puppy finally discovers what it means to be loved.

At just 10 weeks old and about 11 pounds, this precious little girl is beginning her journey toward finding a family of her own. Autumn and her two sisters were being given away in a Walmart parking lot, and now she’s getting the chance to discover all the wonderful things puppyhood should be.

We were told Autumn is a Mastiff/Heeler mix, but her muzzle markings and webbed paws make us wonder if she might have some Blackmouth Cur in her family tree. Whatever her mix, she’s one adorable little girl!

When Autumn first arrived at her foster home, she was a bit aloof. She would accept affection, but she wasn’t quite sure how to give it back. It was as if she hadn’t yet learned that people could be a source of comfort and love. But with just a few days of patience and kindness, we began to see her blossom. Now, she’s learning to enjoy those special moments with her foster mom and is starting to return the affection she receives. Watching her discover this softer side of life has been a wonderful thing.

Autumn is also making great progress with potty training. At first, going outside wasn’t very interesting to her, but she’s now taking care of business outdoors on a regular basis, although we are still working on indications for when she has to go out. She has a good appetite, sleeps through the night right next to her foster mom, and is beginning to embrace her inner puppy by playing with her toys.

She’s also very interested in making friends with her older, much larger four-legged foster siblings. Unfortunately, they haven’t quite caught on to her invitation to play! But Autumn is ready and willing to join the fun when she finds a dog who wants to play along.

Her foster home doesn’t have children or cats, so we can’t say for certain how she would do with them. However, her foster believes she would do well with children.

Autumn’s story is just beginning. She has already shown us how much a little patience, security, and love can help a puppy blossom. She’s learning that the world can be a kind place, that cuddles can feel wonderful, and that there’s plenty of time for playing, exploring, and being a puppy. 💙

Octoberfest is the sweetest girl you could imagine. She gets along wonderfully with her foster dog siblings and enjoys having friends around, but when it's time to relax and cuddle, she knows exactly where she wants to be… snuggled up with her humans! 🥰

She's a smart girl who is catching on beautifully to basic commands. She'll even let you know when she needs to go potty! She's been doing fantastic in her foster home, with zero accidents in the house or her crate. Now that's something to celebrate! 🎉

Being a Beagle mix, she loves to put that nose to work! 👃 Whether she's enjoying a leisurely walk or exploring the backyard, sniffing all the interesting smells is one of her favorite activities. She's a girl who appreciates life's simple pleasures!

URGENT FOSTERS NEEDED TODAY.

Meet Hades and C***r.

These dogs likely feel defeated. Their posture and environment speak volumes. Their owner has been evicted and had over 10 dogs in the home. She periodically returns to feed them but as we all know, that’s simply not enough while we know she’s doing her best. Thankfully she is doing that. Hades (5 months old male lab mix) and C***r (18 month old male lab mix) both need a foster TODAY. The dogs on the property have been one by one picked off by the neighbors who are shooting them. It’s not a crime when a dog wanders on your property to shoot them and dogs wander. Every day is another chance they will not get a tomorrow. Please, folks, this is urgent. Hades and C***r need fosters today before it’s too late.

This precious boy was being fostered by a friend and was supposed to go back to the owner but they’ve decided after moving, they aren’t going to be able to take him back. Hi, everyone! My name is Sienna, and I'm a sweet girl with a gentle soul and lots of love to give! ❤️ I might be a little shy when we first meet, but give me a little time, and I'll be giving you kisses and soaking up all the head scratches and belly rubs you can offer!

I'm a smart girl, too! 🎓 I already know my name and lots of important words like sit, potty, outside, inside, crate, no, off, breakfast, dinner, and night-night! I even come when I'm called. I'm a pretty good listener, especially when you tell me what a good girl I am. 🥰 I really love praise and knowing that I've made you happy!

A few more things about me:
🐶 I play nicely with other dogs, including my Dachshund stepsister.
🐱 I'm cat-friendly!
🧸 I love playing with toys.
🌳 I enjoy exploring the backyard, investigating acorns and leaves like the little nature detective I am.

This is urgent! S*x of each pup is listed in their pics and they are about 12-14 weeks old. Who wants a doodle mix baby to foster? So excited for the arrival of these little fuzzheads!
