Train Wreck in New Haven, 1900’s

New Haven is located along the Missouri River in Franklin County about 31 miles West from us.

This beautiful small town is home to a collection of historic Air B&B's, riverfront, and a business district, where places like the Walt Theatre, Pinckney Bend Distillery, Astral Glass Studio, Elizabeth’s, Dos Bros Mexican Restaurant, Trinity Hill Bed and Breakfast call home.

One can find New Haven by driving West on Highway 100. It stands between two major tourist stops, Hermann and Washington.

Franklin County Courthouse in Union, circa 1930's

While the Red Cedar is located within St. Louis County, our town Pacific is mostly in Franklin County. The Franklin County Courthouse is located in Union, about 18 miles West of us. It was built in 1922, replacing an older building, and is still used today.

The Franklin County Courthouse stands in the heart of Downtown Union where one can find many restaurants and businesses, like the White Rose Cafe, Union Furniture & Flooring, and Maggies Over The Creek. There is also the Franklin County Missouri Historical Society at the corner of South Oak Street and East Locust Street.
