Meet Mrs. Sanders ✨

Mrs. Sanders loves helping her 6th graders recognize their own potential while learning to take greater responsibility for themselves and their schoolwork. She also intentionally creates opportunities for her students to spend time with our Little Cougars — from reading with our Pre-K students to simply getting to know them — teaching our older students what it means to be positive role models for the younger ones.

Now in her 11th year in education and with a decade at Crosspoint, Mrs. Sanders has a heart for building relationships throughout our school. That investment shows in the little things, like seeing our older students stop to say hello to our youngest Cougars in the hallway and knowing one another beyond their own grade levels.

Most importantly, Mrs. Sanders wants her students grounded in God’s Word. Her love for God and desire to teach children about Him are what led her to Christian education, and she continues to invest in students academically, spiritually, and as young people learning to lead by example.

We’re so thankful for Mrs. Sanders and the many ways she has faithfully invested in Crosspoint students and families over the years!

First full week — here we go! 🖤💛📚

Desks are filled, classrooms are ready, and our Cougars are settling into their new routines.

As we begin our first full week together, we pray for wisdom for our teachers, eager hearts and minds for our students, patience and kindness in our classrooms, and God’s guidance in everything we do.

May the work done within these walls equip our students to know Him, serve others, and bring Him glory.

Meet Mrs. Gilbert ✨

Mrs. Gilbert teaches our 5th grade Cougars in Math, Reading, Language Arts, and Spelling before they head to their afternoon classes.

Now in her second year at Crosspoint, Mrs. Gilbert brings a strong background in elementary education to the classroom. She holds a Master’s in Teaching with a specialty in Reading and previously taught second grade for five years and fifth grade for one year before stepping away from the classroom to stay home with her three children for eight years.

As both an educator and a mom of three school-aged children, Mrs. Gilbert brings experience, perspective, and a heart for helping students build a strong academic foundation as they continue growing into more independent learners.

We’re so thankful to have Mrs. Gilbert investing in our 5th grade Cougars for another year at Crosspoint!

History of our building. ✨ 🙌

Friends, if you haven’t stopped by Red Cedar Inn & Tourism Pacific, MO yet, it’s such a neat piece of Pacific history right on historic Route 66. The beautifully restored 1934 landmark is now home to a museum, visitor center, children’s museum, and gift shop — making it a fun and educational stop for the whole family.

We’re grateful to be part of the Pacific community and love getting to know some of the places that make our new hometown special!
