This afternoon was beautiful overlooking Castellammare in Pacific Palisades at Villa de Leon which was built in 1927, and miraculously survived the January 7th fire.
Please join us for the latest PPCC Meeting this Thursday, June 25th at 6 pm via Zoom.
What’s on the agenda? ⁉️
This week will be the last meeting of the Current PPCC Officers’ Term.
The Board will hear remarks and thanks from our respected outgoing President Sue Kohl. The Board members and incoming officers will also thank all the current/outgoing officers: President Kohl, Vice-President Quentin Fleming, Treasurer Jenny Li, and Secretary Beth Holden-Garland, for their incredible service to the Board and community during these excruciating past 1+1/2 years — the most difficult time in Palisades history!
Area & At-large Election News
The names of Area & At-large incumbents running for re-election will be announced, along with the names of the Election Committee members, who will oversee the Palisades-wide Area & At-large Elections to take place later this summer. Stay tuned for more information about how to become a candidate — notice to be distributed on or before July 1st!
Grants Recommendations ~
The Grants Committee is recommending two more grants to worthy recipients for Board approval on the 25th: the Lowe Family YMCA and the Palisades Americanism Parade Association (PAPA). See the agenda for more details.
LADWP Presentation on Palisades Water Infrastructure.
**Last but not least, we will have an informative and important presentation by LADWP officials on Water Infrastructure in the Palisades — organized by the PPCC Infrastructure Committee**.
Committee Chair and VP-elect Reza Akef will moderate the discussion with LADWP.
There will be a lot to discuss and learn this week. A Zoom link and agenda are available on our website at www.pacpalicc.org (and in our bio).
We hope to see you there! Palisades Strong! 💙💪💫
