A little delayed post!! It was truly wonderful to see everyone at the PPBA opening day, especially after such a difficult time for our community. A huge thank you to Traci Park for throwing the first pitch – it meant so much! We appreciate your ongoing support of 90272. Palisades Wildfire Community Support Center NOW OPEN! 🔥
Message from - The Palisades American Legion building (untouched by the fire!) is now a community support hub for all affected residents. Manned by veterans, we’re here to serve you.
Get FREE insurance & legal advice, connect with FEMA, SBA, and Red Cross reps, and access mental health support & clergy. We also have PPE, food, water, shovels, and sifters available.
Our pristine Legion Hall is filled with resources to help you recover. We have a stage for official briefings and space for media. Veterans are stepping up to lead in this difficult time, and our team has been on the ground since day one.
The building has undergone a 5-day mitigation process and environmental testing, and is ready to serve you.

$10,000 DoorDash Relief Grants Available from Restaurants Affected by Wildfires Restaurants in Los Angeles County impacted by the devastating wildfires can now apply for relief funding to help them recover through the DoorDash Restaurant Disaster Relief Fund. The DoorDash Restaurant Disaster Relief Fund provides $10,000 relief grants to local restaurants affected by state- or federally-declared natural disasters. The grants can be used to cover operating costs like rent or mortgage repayments, food and beverage inventory, utilities, supplies and materials, and supplier costs.

If you own a business consider putting Advancing Parenting’s bumper stickers on your vehicles. At stoplights drivers read the parenting tip, and the name of your company gets remembered. If there are passengers, someone will read it and comment, then everyone in the car reads it and conversations begin. Having our parenting tip stickers on your vehicles is a valuable public service that will create goodwill for your company.

There are fifty-three to choose from and they focus on the development of children’s mental health, character, and intellect.

People love them and you will get compliments from your customers.

Some are quite wordy, but there’s plenty of time to read the messages at stoplights.
