Work has started on the dismantling of the lath house at the ranch. Here is the side of the lath house visible from the laundry room just prior to the work beginning - laundry lines used to stretch across this space.

Great news for the new year - the ranch has secured funds to at long last fix the historic lath house and the retaining wall behind it! The structure has been falling down for years and it has been number one on our list to help get it fixed. This is the incinerator that sits inside - it too will be stabilized as part of the process. It is not as glamorous as some projects, but it is one which is greatly needed and long overdue!

Ever notice this amazing fence? The wooden fence posts have rotted away so the only thing holding it up is the ivy... it is on our to do list to fix at the ranch.
