1/4 Ton off the Beach
With 110 volunteers, including powerhouse teams from CSUMB Women’s Water Polo and Hartnell Veteran’s Center, we removed 528 pounds of trash today, 44 pounds recycled and over a quarter ton of waste stopped from entering the ocean.
Our coastline is cleaner, our dunes are healthier, and our community is stronger because of YOU. Massive thanks to Other Brother Brewing for sponsoring this cleanup and to the Dune Gooneys for keeping watch over our skies and shores.
Every piece of trash removed is a victory.
