Sesquicentennial Events at Chautauqua Hall - July 21 - 24

Come celebrate 150 years since the Methodists first arrived in Pacific Grove. Events will take place in Chautauqua Hall, corner of 16th and Central. There is no admission charge for these events but donations are appreciated to help with the restoration of this 1881 iconic building. All ages are welcome to all events.

On Monday, July 21, at 6 p.m., the Youth Ambassadors from Pacific Grove High School will host the movie “Lilo and Stitch” for all families.

On Tuesday, July 22 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. please join your neighbors and enjoy the talents of local musicians including David Holodiloff with Michael Martinez and Wolfdog Walker. Snacks will be sold by the Kiwanis Club of Pacific Grove.

Wednesday’s event will be a “Boots and Blazers” dance starting at 6 p.m., hosted by the Youth Ambassadors.

Thursday, July 24 will find us listenin' and dancin' to the oldies with DJ Ryan playing 40s, 50s, and 60s music starting at 6:30 p.m. A snack bar will again be sold by the Kiwanis Club of PG.

Additionally, on Sunday, July 27th there will be a celebration at the First United Methodist Church, 915 Sunset Drive in PG, at 2:00. Enjoy some fun history and a sing-a-long of old tunes, followed by ice cream in the church's Grantham Hall.
