The Panhandle Pitbulls are gearing up for two of the biggest dual team events of the summer, and we're looking for wrestlers ready to step up, compete, and grow!

🏆 July 24–26: Backyard Brawl – Atlanta, GA (SOLD OUT EVENT!)
⚖️ +0.2 lb weight allowance

🏆 July 31–Aug. 2: Deep South Nationals – Birmingham, AL
⚖️ +1 lb weight allowance

These aren't local tournaments—they're packed with some of the toughest teams you'll see all year. Backyard Brawl is completely SOLD OUT, and Deep South Nationals is always loaded with high-level competition. If your wrestler wants to improve, this is exactly the kind of experience that builds confidence, toughness, and real mat skills. 🔥 CONGRATULATIONS LIAM MCCOMBS!🔥

Not every victory is measured by a medal but this one came with gold!

Sometimes the biggest win is seeing a young athlete finally realize what they're capable of.

When Liam first came to us, wrestling didn't come easy. He struggled. He got frustrated. There were plenty of tough days, hard lessons, and moments when it would've been easier to quit.

But he didn't.
He kept showing up.
He kept working.

And this weekend, something clicked.

For the first time, we saw Liam fully trust his training, trust his coaches, and most importantly, trust himself.
The hesitation was gone.
The doubt was gone.

The kid who stepped onto the mat this weekend wasn't the same kid we've seen battling through those early struggles and hard practices. He wrestled with confidence. He wrestled with purpose. He wrestled like he belonged.
And he proved to himself he does as he earned every bit of success that followed this weekend.

As coaches, we're proud of the medal.

But we're even prouder of the growth.

Because championships are won on a single day.
Character is built over months of choosing not to quit.

Liam, this weekend showed everyone what we've been waiting to see. Keep trusting the process. Keep believing in yourself. This is only the beginning.

🤠🔥 OUTLAW NATION... WHAT. A. WEEKEND. 🔥🤠

This weekend at the Alabama State Games, our wrestlers didn't just compete—they represented everything the PWC Outlaws and Panhandle Pitbulls stand for: grit, toughness, heart, and the courage to step onto the line when the challenge is at its greatest.
As coaches, we couldn't be prouder.

🏆 ALABAMA STATE GAMES INDIVIDUAL RESULTS 🏆

Four Outlaw hammers showed them today what happens when you mess with the bull and brought home incredible results:

🥇 Liam McCombs — ALABAMA STATE GAMES CHAMPION 🥇 Maddox de Lange — ALABAMA STATE GAMES CHAMPION 🥈 Tatum de Lange — RUNNER-UP 🏅 JP Starkie — 4TH PLACE FINISHER

These young men earned every second of their success through countless hours of hard work, sacrifice, and the commitment to both.

🐾 PANHANDLE PITBULLS DUALS TEAM 🐾

Saturday belonged to the Panhandle Pitbulls—the combined force of the PWC Outlaws and our brothers and sisters from Bay County Elite Wrestling (BCEW).

Team 1 entered the battlefield already at a disadvantage, giving up FIVE open weight classes every round. Some teams would have folded under that kind of pressure.
Not these kids.
They fought for every point, every position, and every match on their way to an incredible 4th Place finish.

Team 2 may never show up in the final standings, but their story deserves to be told.
With only five wrestlers, there was no path to a team trophy. No realistic shot at podium recognition. Yet they showed up anyway.
They stepped on the mat knowing they were outnumbered.
They wrestled because that's what wrestlers do.
They battled for experience. They battled for pride. They battled for each other.
And that kind of courage doesn't show up on a bracket.

WE BITE DOWN. WE NEVER BACK DOWN.

This weekend wasn't just about medals.
It was about character.
It was about learning hard lessons, embracing hard matches, and refusing to quit when things got difficult.
Every wrestler who wore our colors this weekend represented our programs with pride, toughness, and determination.

Thank you to every parent who traveled, every coach who pours everything into these athletes, our PWC Outlaws and BCEW athletes and our entire PANHANDLE PITBULLS family for helping make this weekend possible.
The future is bright. The work continues. And PWC Outlaws are still making noise!🤘🐂🔥

🚨 BUCKLE UP AND LOCK IN FOR THE ALABAMA STATE GAMES! 🚨

The countdown is on as we prepare for another battle! PWC Outlaws and Bay County Elite Wrestling are teaming up once again as the Panhandle Pitbulls heading to the Alabama State Games from June 12th–14th, with the duals officially going down on Saturday, June 13th! We are bringing TWO K-8 dual teams, and looking to fill the rosters with kids willing to go put it all on the line and fight like a dog.

We need to lock these rosters down ASAP as we prepare to UNLEASH THESE DOGS ON THE MAT!

🔱 THE PACK THRIVES IN DEEP WATERS 🔱

The battle at Poseidon is officially over, and the Panhandle Pitbulls are heading home with their heads held high. 🐾🌊

For two days, our wrestlers lived in the deep waters of Poseidon. They fought through the fatigue, the heat, and some of the toughest competition in the state. We didn't just show up—we made sure everyone in that arena knew exactly who we were.

🔥 Our K-4 Gold Team clawed their way to a 7th place finish in a stacked bracket!
🔥 Every single wrestler across all three teams stepped onto that mat with the intensity, aggression, and pride that defines our Pack Mentality.

To the parents and coaches who made the drive, braved the long days, and lost your voices cheering: Thank you. This mission only works because of your dedication to these kids.

To our wrestlers: You fought like dogs. You represented the Pitbull name with honor. Whether you stood on top of the podium or learned a hard lesson in the circle, you grew as warriors this weekend.

We came as three teams, we fought as one Pack, and we leave as a family. The drive home might be long, but the future of this team is looking brighter than ever.
