Hey everybody..

Hurricane update:

Just wanted to jump on here and give a brief overview /update of our experience.

We are based out of Pace, FL. It's not been confirmed, but I know we (our whole neighborhood and a good portion of the community) had well over 100mph winds come through our area. We had minimal damage to our location (my home). God's wings covered us and not a single shingles was disturbed on our home.

Our sheds on the other hand are toast. One ended up in our neighbors yard and the other 2 sides of it were blown out and the door was ripped off. This she'd in particular is where I store clothing display racks and hangers. Luckily, the hangers didnt become flying projectiles and everything stayed right where it was located within the shed. No damage to any of it, other than it getting a bit wet.

Hope and Joy... When the storm was still out in the gulf, I had concerns where they are parked (in my driveway), due to a big oak tree in my neighbors yard. But again, God's hands covered both of them and there was zero damage to them.

I haven't found out yet on the condition of our Upper Room resource center as of yet. It is on the West side of Pensacola and I haven't been able to make it over there just yet, but will do so later this week and will give an update once I have news.

As far as clothing donations -
We are on hold for any clothing donations at this time.. We still dont have power yet and have a total of 6 powerpoles snapped in half on our road which is only about a 1/4 to 1/2 of a mile long.. So, it's going to be a minute..

Also to note, the new generator that we purchased that we've used all of 5 times wouldn't stay running right after we lost power... So, also until I can get it fixed or replaced Hope or Joy will not be operational.

The enemy loves to use electrical power against us to try and thwart our work.. He's not winning this battle by no means, and I expect the generator to work perfectly here in the next few days.

If you have an individual who needs clothing, please reach out and I'll get them some clothes, but group shopping or pulling clothes for multiple people will have to wait until further notice..

I know many more people have more pressing damage than our little 2 sheds, but we are still at a loss as to how we are going to afford to replace them. For now, the big shed is tarped up and the other one was damaged beyond repair and so all of our gardening stuff is just in a heaping pile in our backyard.. We aren't sure filing an insurance claim would be worth it without jacking up our insurance rates and having to forfeit most of any of the funds received to pay the deductible...

But my Abba God will provide.. I'm not even upset about the shed because it had seen better days, it came with the house.

So this is just God's way of clearing out the old and bringing in the new.

But I'm here to tell you, that hurricane experience was a wild ride.. Every single bit of atheist a cat 3...

Stay safe friends, have patience with each other. We are all dealing with the trauma of this all. But I know that Abba God is with us every step of the way and He will see us through to the other side..

Hi all..

Wanting to share a couple things as we journey down the road into October heading towards the end of 2026..

1. October is our 2 year anniversary!! 🥳

Its so hard to believe we are 2 years old..

We will be sharing some highlights from the past 2 years over this month, so be on the lookout for those.

2. We have reached a big goal at the end of September - literally September 30th!..

We hit a total of 502 people served for 2026 thus far!! 🤠🤠🤠

For the month of September we served a total of 38!!

3 of those were in Canada!!

Yes, you read that right - we are International!! Which we actually have been since November of 2025!

But we were able to provide business jackets and pants to a survivor sister who lives in Canada, who desperately needed them as she is launching into the public speaking arena, and also we were able to provide some clothes for a couple of her daughters. She is a single mom raising 4 girls and we love to be able to help empower her (and her daughters) any chance we get.

On a side note - someone pointed out to us a couple of weeks ago that on the side of Hope there is an International emblem, so of course we are going International!!

All of this is because of our Abba God!! 🙌🙌

He gets ALL the glory and praise.

Without Him, there would be no The Blessing Boutique..

He is faithful to provide everything that we need - and we mean EVERYTHING!!

He is so good to us and we are forever grateful 🙏 🥲 🙂

We have a couple of big things in the works, but arent ready to release what they are..

You'll just have to wait until we get there, because we arent there yet... (I know we've all heard that on a road trip before - lol!! 😂🤣😂🤣)

So just sit tight and make sure you've got your seatbelt securely fastened. 😂🤣

We are looking forward to what the end of 2026 and God has in store for us.. 🥰

WE DID IT!!!

Thank you to all those who have shared our little page..

Welcome to our adventure!!

We look forward to sharing many great times and memories and fun as we travel along this journey of Hope and Joy...

And for the newbies - Hope and Joy are our mobile units..

Hope - travels to safe houses and provides female survivors of s*x trafficking, domestic violence and s*xual assault a safe space to shop for clothing and toiletries. We go to them, so they dont have to leave their secured locations..

Joy - works with the re-entry programs to provide ladies who are coming out of the jail system clothing and toiletries for free.

We also have a resource room at a 2nd chance school to provide youth ages 16-24 clothing, toiletry and household needs. Some of these kids are homeless or they are going into independent living from the foster care system and have nothing. So we help out with just the basics - no furniture, just like towels, sheets, plates, pots/pans, cleaning supplies, etc..

We also have a new space currently in the works, but arent ready to reveal that one just yet.

All of our items are free for those that we serve.

We work on a very small and limited budget, but there are times when we have to buy toiletries or specific items - like non-skid shoes when we dont have them in stock... We would hate for a youth who is trying to get their life on track not be able to start a new job without the required shoes needed for that job.

We want to help them put their best foot forward and to empower them - we want this for all those that we serve.

This...

This right here causes me to stop in my tracks and pray for the person who donates items like these.. For understanding and for thoughtfulness and for concern.

Here's the problem ~ women in safe houses and the programs that we serve dont need these kinds of donations..

The main reason -

the ladies are in a safe house.

What is a safe house? - a secured location to where she can regroup and heal from the life that she just endured and managed to get away from.

Its a place of comfort, a place of peace and place to be still and let God show them just how important they are to HIM and how much He loves them and a place to grow.

Its a place where she can leave her old life - which was a place where these shoes may have been a job requirement!

They dont necessarily go anywhere. And if they do go on an outing - it's definitely not where a shoe of this sort would be required...

Yes, they may be cute, but someone who is exiting a life where they worked in a strip club or on the streets - something like this can be a trigger..

You can help us best by understanding our specific needs - and this isnt it!!

Please think before donating and ask yourself - is this something this particular organization can actually utilize?

We arent a dumping ground for dirty, worn out, damaged clothing & shoes and such. We are limited on space as it is. And for to now have to find a place for these to go now costs us money - money in gas and time. Most of which we lack all three (gas, money & time) as nonprofits.

Our goal is to empower these ladies and the youth that we serve - not to make them feel like they are only worthy of someone's trash... Or to put them into a mindset of thinking that this is all they will ever be good for, all they will ever be worth.

Help us do that instead of having the mindset of I've gotta dump my stuff to wherever I can so I can go buy more stuff.

Sorry, not sorry if someone gets offended, but it needs to be said in the most to the point, no beating around the bush about it kind of way, in a way that light bulbs will finally click on in people's heads.

You may have loved these shoes and paid alot of money for them.. But in all honesty - where is someone who is at a safe house supposed to wear these? They are limited to a set amount of clothing items and shoes they are going to be able to have.

Tennis shoes, sandals, low business casual, flats, black non-skid shoes and boots are what are needed - not something that will remind someone of a life they just escaped and are trying to heal from it.

Thank you for thinking of us and trying to help.

What a day we've had today!! The ladies of REAP / ReEntry Alliance Pensacola had their monthly shopping day..

Alot goes into behind the scenes before we even arrive on site for a shopping day..

Lots of clothes moving - in and out - did I mention lots of clothes?!?

Restocking shoes, restocking shirts, dresses, pants, underwear, bras, jewelry.

Removing what isnt needed - out of season items - shorts, any summer holiday items - 4th of July, etc. And rearranging where things go.

Gathering and putting together all the toiletries.

Make sure we have shopping bags, generator, gas for the generator, cord for the generator (this one's really important, because without it theres no lights or fans or A/C) - ask me how I know... 🙄

Tables, tools, hooking the trailers up to our truck and the list could go on and on.

But in the end - seeing the ladies faces when they score a great shirt, dress or pair of shoes makes all the hard work worth it all....

The picture was from last night at 9pm when I closed Joy up for the night - locked and loaded ready to roll.

Hey friends..

Who is ready for sweata weather???

As the temps are slowly, and I mean slowly declining here in the NW Panhandle of Florida - we are transitioning to more Fall clothing and footwear.

Currently we are on hold for clothing - unless you have 2x & up..

But we are in desperate need of shoes.. What kind of shoes? New or gently used - no missing heels, broken straps, etc. Sneakers, even still flip-flops, casuals, flats and boots - sizes 6 1/2 up to 9 1/2.

We will not longer be accepting high heels or formal wear, simply because the ladies at the safe houses dont have a need for any of that and I need the space for what is utilized the most.

If you have clothing 2x & up (please no summer clothing) or shoes, please message me and I will schedule a pick up day & time.
