🦋The Susan becoming Anthony foundation originally launched as an LGBTQ advocacy that helped kids that got kicked out for coming out that were too old for foster care, but too young to be living on their own. When I adopted my son through the foster care system, I realized I had to widen my mission.
I now provide backpacks and luggages filled with clothes to foster care children, foster parents, adopted children and adoptive parents along with families in the community that are less fortunate.
My son is on the autism spectrum and my new store is a three level store, where I am creating a special space for children in the community where parents can bring their kids for free! We have a sensory play zone, we have an arts and craft section and we have a play zone.
The Susan becoming Anthony foundation offers new and lightly used items to the community as our other two levels of our store are being filled with built-in racks of clothing for men, women, and children in our community to shop and fill their backpacks and luggage’s.
It is my hope that you will join for the grand opening of my foundation and add to the blessings our community so desperately needs.
