First Week back at the Teen Center and everyone is loving it! We hopped right into tons of activities and can’t wait to show you guys! Be on the look out for all the cool things we have coming this school year!!

Over the course of this week, we saw our little shop getting closer to real! We had so much help from Home Depot volunteers (They worked so hard so we served up some lunch to keep them going). Also on hand was the Carroll High School flag football team, the soccer team and members of the baseball team. We've still got a little ways to go before we open, but progress has been spectacular.

This weekend, we laid the foundation for our Produce Shop at the Teen Center. The Home Depot has been extremely generous in helping us grow and Build Great Futures. It’s going to be a week of work with volunteers & Club Staff all pulling together to give our entrepreneurs a place to sell their produce and craft items.

We are super-excited about our partnership with Home Depot in Dothan. Together, we're Building Great Futures with a Produce Stand to sell our garden products and honey, and A Woodworking Shop (plus all the tools). We're also adding new half-courts and basketball goals, tetherball, and a lovely gazebo to keep our outdoor gathering place dry when the weather turns soggy! It's like Christmas in July..

We had the honor of hosting a few ladies from the Dale County Master Gardeners Club. They taught us tons a great knowledge on how to produce the best harvest we can! Thank you so much Master Gardeners for spending some time with us!!
